Engine:
-The engine is a GM performance ZZ383 as described below. This new GM engine. not rebuilt. The engine has about 12. 00 miles on it. With the parts below the engine delivers 460HP. -The intake is an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold. -Holley 77. 0 "Street Avenger" Carb with pressure indicator and AN lines. -Holley High pressure fuel pump. -Mechanical tach drive MSD ignition. All MSD ignition wires. -MSD 6AL control box with a 6000rpm rev Limiter. -Short ceramic coated headers. -Custom Billet valve and air cleaner. -High flow holly water pump. DeWitt full flow Aluminum Radiator. Hayes Street and Strip clutch/pressure plate/bearing assembly. Pressure plate changed in 2011. -New fuel tank and sending unit installed.
With GM's legendary Fast Burn cylinder heads and 383 cubic inches. the ZZ383/425(P/N 12498772) delivers incredible torque with smooth. linear delivery. If you're looking for a small-block package that delivers big-block power. then you've found it. 425 horsepower at an incredibly low 5400 RPM. and 449ft lbs of torque at 4500 RPM make this the ideal hot street engine.
The excellent air handling and combustion characteristics of the Fast Burn cylinder heads combined with the ZZ383/425's 3. 00" stroke make this engine the benchmark against which all other 383 inch small-blocks should be measured. And it's tough. to. The 4340 nitrided and induction hardened crank and unique forged PM rods see to that. The 9. 7 to 1 compression ratio ensures that the ZZ383/425 is 92 octane pump gas friendly.
The ZZ383/425 gets a stout . 509/. 528 lift steel camshaft with 222/230 duration at . 050 lift. Hydraulic roller lifters and GM's time tested 1. 5 to 1 roller rocker arms round out the valve train. And. of course. it has the Fast Burn head's lightweight stainless steel valves and retainers for reliable performance at extended RPM.
Transmission:-Muncie 4 speed with Standard gers. The transmission is completely rebuilt in 2011. -Hurst shifter.
Rear End:-Standard 66 corvette with 3:36 gears. -Drive shaft U-Joints replaced.  Suspension:-New 550 front springs. -330lb single composite rear spring. -New Stainless steel brakes all round with new bearings and rotors. -Trailing arms were rebuilt along with the brakes. -Stainless steel brake line-Bilstein HD shocks front and rear. -New steering box installed in 2011. -All front end components were replaced.
Interior:-Complete Interior replacement. -Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pack Heat & Sound Deadening installed throughout the interior. -New carpet set. -Seats frames rebuilt and covered with leather with new foam. -Dash Pads replaced. -Dash re-sprayed factory black. -New door panels. -All gauges and dash rebuilt. All gauges work. -Vintage Air installed. -Radio is original looking but was sent to Florida and modern workings were installed along with IPod ports. IPod is in the glove box and is included. Love that 60's music. -All heater. radio. door. dash knobs and pull re-chromed and replaced.
Exterior:-Complete repaint in 2009. Every piece was taken off the car blocked and sprayed individually. The paint is 2009 Corvette Victory Red. The doors were realigned and hinges and pins rebuilt. All panels and doors were aligned and reinstalled. -Headlight motors were rebuilt. -All badges were replaced with new. -New door handles. -Vent windows re-chromed. -All bumpers re-chromed. -Side pipes. -67 big block hood with painted factory stripes. -Reproduction knock off wheels. -Convertible frame sand blasted and power coated. New Al Knoch top. -1966 black vinyl covered hardtop. New glass. interior and seal kit. Never installed on the car. -New front grill.
