1968 Mustang Coupe

You are viewing a very nice Mustang that has been recently gone through.   2. 00 miles since finished.   The build was started in 2012 and finished in 2013.

Body/Paint:  Rear quarters were replaced.   Small section on driver's door and right fender is aftermarket.   68 Shelby aftermarket fiberglass hood with metal frame.   Taken down to bare metal with multiple coats of primer blocked on each coat.   Paint is PPG 2002 Prowler orange pearl coat.   Black stripes are under clear coat.   The body and paint at straight and flat with west sanding and buffing for a great finish.

Interior:  The interior was restored. dash pad. carpet seat covers. headliner. etc.   Digital gauges. Vintage Air blows cold. power steering. chrome tilt column. AM/FM stereo. no CD player. 4 speaker. overhead custom console and retractable seatbelts.  

Running Gear:  351 Cleveland with 4 V heads. full roller engine. MSD ignition. ceramic coated headers. polished intake and Edelbrock carb. 10 to 1 compression. bumped Comp cam.   Putting out around 400 hp.   HD Griffin aluminum radiator. flex fan and runs cool.   Electric fuel pump.   Trans is a C4 rebuilt with shift kit. And 9 inch rear end with 370 gears and Detroit locker.   Set of 325 gears go with the car.  

Suspension:  Stock rebuilt with new Borgesen steering box power assist (14 to 1).   Five leaf springs with new shocks all the way around.     

Bright work:  Bumpers are new aftermarket.   All other chrome including wing and quarters widows rechromed.   Stainless is polished.

Glass:  Original to the car in very good condition.

Exhaust:  3 inch pipe with cross over using Flow Master style mufflers.   Sound great.  

Brakes:  Drum all the way around in good working order.  

Wheels/Tires:  BFG tires on new Magnum 500 15 inch wheels.   205/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear.    

Summary:  The car has plenty of performance that shows very well.   Great street car.   I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price so why build when you can enjoy today. Great value and a quality car for the money.   All original parts come with the car.
