1973 MACH 1

This is a pristine MACH 1 with a California pedigree (1973 to 2015).   I drove it from central California to Missouri a little over a year ago (I had the route 66 urge) and I keep it garaged.   It's a beautiful numbers matching. rust free car.   I have the Marty report (image included in the photos).

The 351 Cleveland has been rebuilt and bored . 030 over with an RV cam. 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. headers and MSD ignition.

The transmission (FMX Cruise-O-Matic) was overhauled at the same time as the engine. The rebuild receipts for the engine and Trans come with the car.

The original rear end was a 2:75 conventional rear axle. I replaced it with a 3:25 Detroit locker (aka traction lock. aka posi) a few months ago and it has less than 300 miles on it.   I kept the 2:75 and it comes with the car so that the originality can be maintained.

Most of the dash panels have been replaced and a 1974 Lincoln AM/FM 8 track stereo has been adapted (works great). along with a USB charging port and a 12 VDC power port.

The car has been painted (original color) and a trained eye will note the 71/72 vintage striping.

The wheels have been changed to 17” US Mags with Nitto tires.

Other improvements include a high throughput aluminum water pump. a new power steering pump. a balanced set of chrome pulleys and the MSD tach adapter.   A new top of the line Interstate Megatron battery was installed late last year.   The rear window louvers and horns are also brand new.

The following projects are in work at my custom shop and will be complete by the time of sale:

·        The original car came with front disc brakes and rear drum.   I am having the rear converted to disc so the car will be 4 wheel discs.

·        Shoulder seat belts are being installed in the front seats and the driver's seat track is being extended for a bit more leg room.

·        Visibility thru the rear louvers is pretty poor so I am having a wireless camera and rear view mirror system installed to improve rear vision.

Title is clear.

I would consider a trade offer for a late model. low mileage sedan in the 17K to 18K range with the balance in cash.

She's a strong runner and a real head turner.

I need $500 down thru PayPal with the balance paid in accordance with the payment terms within 7 days (5 business days) of purchase.   Buyer is responsible for shipping. but I expect it would be fun for you to drive it home.

Thanks for bidding!
