ROVER MINI 1000 CITY E - GREAT LOOKING CAR / LOTS SPENT

 
THIS AUCTION IS FOR A ROVER MINI 1000 CITY E OLD ENGLISH WHITE

Selling this car for my son. as you can see from the picture's attached this is a very nice example of a Classic mini. Reason for the sale is he has moved down south now and got a more modern car that can do the motorway miles so the car has been sat in the garage not being used for over a year now and its a great shame when someone could be having some fun using it.

He bought this car about 3 years ago from a bloke that had bare shell restored the car (see pictures) and totally rebuilt the car. have a hugh file full of pictures and receipts detailing this. Listed below are a few details of what has been done to the mini at the time but as you can understand there has been so much replaced/restored might miss a few things.

Details from the restore when my son bought the car 3 years ago -

Sprayed in old english white. New floors. New inner/outer sills. New flitch panel. New A panels. New wings and front panels. New brake. calipers. hoses and copper brake lines. New custom interior. New piano black dash. New alloy wheels with Dumlop tyres. New bumpers and lights. 4 rack spot lights and quality stereo /speakers.

I got the car Mot'd end of November so has mot till 25th Nov 2013. the car is not taxed so will need the be towed or trailered away.

Have kepted starting the car up and moving it on the drive so its not seized up but as I said above has not been used properly for over a year so will need a good going over/ servicing before being used.

Also when cleaning / starting the other day to list it for sale noticed the lights on the car where acting up. put the indicators on and the brake lights flashed. front indicator didn't come on etc. so looks like the car has a bad earth somewhere (not a car sparky so don't know) can't be major because did pass the mot few months ago. guess it must be with it being stood over the bad winter. got damp. So this will also need to be looked at.

Have tried to list above all the details of the car good and bad so please pay attention to the details. don't want issues / tyre kickers turning up pointing out what I have listed above trying to get the car for a knocked down price. My lad paid a lot for the car because what has been done when restored so please dont email silly prices because they want be accepted.

Would prefer people serious about buying the car to come and view it. just send me a text and can arrange a date/ time when suitable for you. Buyer would need to collect within 3 days of end of auction and cash on collection.
