1966 Chevrolet Chevelle

I have some history on this car. I am the fourth owner . have had the car for almost 6 years . The car was delivered on Nov. 13th 1965 to Chuck Davis Chevrolet in Houston Texas. Car was built in Atlanta GA. The original owner had it for almost 36 years then sold it to his grandson who also lived  in Houston. The original color of the car was sandstone with a beige vinyl top . The grandson had it painted sunfire yellow in 2003 then in 2004  sold it to the 3rd owner who lived in Tennessee. He put about 2000 miles on it in 6 years. Then decided to sell it and get into motor cycles . That's when i bought it. I planned on painting it because i wanted the Chateau Slate color witch is a 66 factory color. so it was taken apart and done rite I had original bumpers re chromed and all metal polished or replaced except for the drip rails and the vent window frames . So it was painted with the PPG base coat clear coat . Formulated from the 1966 factory color number for Chateau Slate . And it turned out awesome . This car has all original body panels except the hood witch is a after market SS hood It is a exceptional car . Was a bench seat factory 4 speed car . Now has original 66 buckets and console . The seat backs are 67 i opted for the push button lock for the backs versus no lock . Car has Power steering. Power disc brakes Every thing works except for the clock witch was on my list . SS gauges. restored am radio that i hooked up to the dash speaker and i added a jvc fm cd player in glovebox and hooked it up to a pair of Infiniti reference series 6x9's in back deck. This car has alot of new stuff . Motor has a new edelbrock performer carb dart aluminum heads. hedmann long tube headers comp cam. i have the specs . Car has x pipe with 2. 5 inch pipes all new and dyno max chamber mufflers . Sounds awesome tranny is the Muncie M21 with a hurst shifter but i put the muncie shifter handle on it was rebuilt in 2003 probably has 5000 miles on it . have receipts for some of the work . It also has a 4 core big block radiator . ac delco battery oil filter and plugs . This is my 3rd 66 chevelle and by far the nicest ! Car has new gas tank sending unit shocks springs front and rear swaybars with the boxed lower control arms 10 bolt rear end stock non posi. It also comes with original licence plate that was issued to car in 1966 it has been repainted . lso have the 4 original hub caps in great shape . 1 is on spare in trunk I also have the Protecto plate . riginal owners manual and some option brochures the original owner picked up in show room when he bought the car in 1965. These are not reproduction . There is 0 rust on this car . super straight and the paint is fantastic . Lot of compliments on paint and body . new Mickey Thompson's all the way around and new 15 inch cragars. Motor has about 7800 miles on it carb is new with electric choke and Hei ignition also. paint is about 2. 5 years old. body only has 87. 97 miles and it shows ! under neath also   Any questions please email or call me. 3143486629 Thank's JB  deposit due within 24 hour's of auctions end .
