FIAT 500R  Very Rare model this was the final version of the 500 and benefits from a larger capacity engine giving much livelier performance than earlier models. The interior features the round speedometer so it has the classic look whilst being more able to keep up with modern traffic. This example is in good condition throughout. structurally it is very sound with all the correct jacking points in place as they were when it left the factory. The paint work is presentable and looks good from a few feet away. up close there are some blemishes and marks. so to make show quality further improvements could be made. this is reflected in the asking price. Mechanically this car is very good indeed. it starts first time from cold at the pull of the starter. once warmed up it settles to a regular idle and has performed very well in busy London traffic. Everything works as it should and even the heater is very effective. The interior is reasonably good. the front seats have a couple of small tears and the rubber mats on the floor are serviceable whilst not pristine. There are a few chips abd scratches on the dashboard which are not too unsightly and add a certain character.   All in all this is a good reliable little classic car that always puts a smile on your face. its tax exempt and on a limited mileage classic car policy costs £74 a year to insure through footman James. I have enjoyed my time with this car immensely now sadly its time to move on to another Italian project - An Alfa GTV.
