Sorry but EBay cancelled my listing the other day because I put our website in the listing. can't do that. So to all the bidders. watchers. etc. again sorry.

Corvette Collectors know what this is. I am going to try and list as much information as I can. I cannot answer a text!  I do not have anymore photos I can send.

Guaranteed numbers matching ( Original Drivetrain ). One Owner. Documented. Original Paint still in place. etc.  True Survivor 1 of 286 per NCRS.  Would make someone a heck of a restoration project for a future Investment.

If you are interested in this super rare Corvette just give me a call please. between 8 am and 8 pm central time @ 251-769-1639. Dennis Lasseter. Jr. Please send any inspector that you would like. I cannot hold this car.

I can put a Buy-It-Now on this auction if we can make a deal before the auction ends.

I purchased this car 3 weeks ago from a dear friend of mine's mother who is the widow of the ORIGINAL OWNER. This is a 1 owner car since new for 44 years. not counting me. Original Owner name and all info is on the other side of the Protect-O-Plate. Sold new at Roy Buckner Chevrolet in Bessemer. Al. ( Near Birmingham ) He lived in Hueytown where the Nascar "Alabama Gang" lived and raced. The selling dealer logo sticker is still on the back of this car!

Its original owner was going to start a restoration on it about 5 years ago. got sick and could not do it. He had taken the original engine out and put it on an engine stand. that is all he got done. See Photo:

I have since put the engine back in the car. bolted to the transmission to make it easier to transport.  It will not run. We did take the pan off and the motor is just great. turns over easy. 4 bolt mains in place. oil tray is with the car in one of the boxes. I have boxes of the original parts that will go with it. Please look at the photos. I installed 4 good tires for transportation also. A few of the photos are when I first looked at it at her house. hence the dirt and blown out front tires still in place. We did wash the outside. pressure washed the bottom and engine compartment only to kill all the spiders. insect nest. etc. It's bottom was actually as clean as the photos show!

It is amazing that any of these cars are still sitting in someone's garage today. I call it a barn find. but actually it was in his garage. I have all the original glove box paperwork. Original Manual. Original Protect-O-Plate included with a few Alabama tag receipts from the 90's with original owners name on them and more.  I was a new G. M. dealer for 40 years and we called these the Warranty Plate. not sure how they got to be called Protect-O-Plate?

Important Numbers :::

Tank Sticker is still on the tank! I got a scope and looked down by the gas cap. it is there just could not read it. The black painted LT1 stripes on the hood are the originals also and you can still see the imprint where the LT1 decals were in between the stripes. they just wore off.

4 Speed Transmission is the Original with vin number . Matches Protect-O-Plate

Rear End is the Original with AA ( 3:55 gears ). Matches Protect-O-Plate

The Original Air Conditioning Compressor I have also with all the original brackets stored in bags.

The Original screen printed breather top and bottom are still here.

Spare wheel ( AZ ) and the original Uniroyal Tiger Paw F70x15 Nylon belted White Letter tire are here.

Rally wheels on ground are all 15X8 AZ code.

It is equipped with Factory Power Steering and Power Brakes. Alarm horn is still under the left rear quarter panel.

Look at the photos of the frame and floors please. Frame is perfect with very lite surface brown because of it being bare metal. don't even need to bead blast the frame. just a sanding would do fine. That is how good the frame is! Fiberglass floors are amazing. you can see the raw glass strands just perfectly!  No undercoating ever! Only place I found with any rust at all are the front windshield lower corners ( windshield leaked over 44 years ). nbsp;this is common. can be fixed easily. that is it!

The body is near flawless. One small place behind the RR tire has been repaired. maybe 3 inches by 2 inches. wheel lip are all nice. all bonding strips in place. Best old body I have ever seen with the original paint still on it. You can still see the non-quality control white paint missing on the headlight buckets! That is how it came from Chevrolet.

Original emissions sticker under the hood is the original and says code "LP" 350 V8 high performance

I have so many parts that go with this car. the alternator and starter are not the originals but I have the ones taken off the car.   I am sure they wore out in the 80's and were replaced. I have clutch. plate. shielding. fan. fan clutch. original radiator with the original foam still glued to the top which A/C cars had. 2 more Holley carbs. bolts. brackets. original A/C condenser. etc. etc.   I know I have many other parts just can't remember them all.  Being an ordered car going to Alabama I am not sure if it had smog or not. It probably did and I am sure that was taken off 2nd week after the owner bought it new. that is what we did all the time. Original Exhaust manifolds have plugs.

I appreciate you looking at this very unique and very rare Corvette LT1 Coupe with Factory Equipped Air Conditioning! Sold as Is but exactly like I say. I reserve the right to close this auction at anytime for any reason.

I have full insurance on this car and can store it in our secure lock-up until your shipping can be arranged. no problem.

I am easy to deal with and will help anyway I can to make this fun for both of us.

Finding 1 of the "286 built per N. C. R. S. books" . this 1972 Corvette LT1 with Factory Air Conditioning sitting in a garage that is totally unrestored bought from the Original Owner with Original Documentation is a very rare find and un-heard of in todays market.  Remember it is the Original Paint too. Just want it to go to a good home. To a true Corvette collector this is a "Holy Grail" find.  Like the GTO is to the Ferrari collector. True blue chip investment.

Please call Dennis Jr. with any questions: 251-769-1639 8 am to 8 pm central time.

Thanks !!
