Here is a very rare opportunity to acquire an appreciating classic in superb. riginal condition.
A MK1 Escort Mexico in the rarest colour of Copper Bronze.
A known AVO club car. elieved to be one of only 3 in existance. nd only manufactured in this colour for 1 year.
Original & unmolested. he car is immaculate throughout. It received a sympathetic nut & bolt restoration some 10 years ago. and has hardly been used since. iving a pampered life.
During restoration. he only welding required was to the base of the rear wheel wells and a small patch on the chassis rail. This is all photographically documented. The car was restored with usuability in mind as the underfloor was painted and detailed. hen waxoyled. The car was polybushed throughout and drives like a nearly new vehicle.
The car has only had 5 owners from new and covered a mere 67. 00 miles. The last 2 were neighbours. and she hasnt been offered for sale for well over 20 years.
She needs to be seen to be appreciated. I have just put a new MOT on her. ithout advisories. The tester is checking his mattress for funds. s he fell in love with it ( He's know his AVO Fords. nd owns another Mexico. )
These cars dont come up very often with this provenance. n this condition. let alone in copper bronze. Surely a must for the serious collector.
