We fetched this car in from the USA a few months ago with the intension of doing something with it but as in a lot of cases too many projects and not enough time.
All duties paid. has the original USA title document and Nova certificate so once the car has an Mot it can very easily be registered at DVLA.
This is a very rare car for restoration as there were only 2800 of them made and out of the 2800 made only 400 were built as lefthand drive models. so very rare. there are only 154 left registered at DVLA
The car is about 90% complete. the lotus engine is with the car but in bits. it appears the carburettors are missing but the rest looks there.
This car could well be the only Lotus Cortina mk1  still requiring restoring out there. dont miss this oppurtunity as these cars are going through the roof as all classic cars are right now
It will need a full restoration as there is a lot of corrsion around the car

We do have a 1966 Ford Cortina 1500GT Mk1 2 door that is a very solid car and could be used as a doner car or to reshell the lotus. this can be negotiated on by the winning bidder after the auction should they wish
