This car is a very very rare find.
Having covered only 120 miles from new
& with 1 owner from new this car will not be found a 2nd time.

The car was purchased from the origional Bristol St Motors. Bristol St. in Birmingham
A Mrs J. C. Twigg had the car delivered & took ownership on 22/08/72

The car has the original service book with first service due at 1. 00 miles
which is a free service! Imagine taking it there to claim the free service 40 years later!

Comes with all original documents including Buff Logbook. Escort Sales brochure. br/>Radio Guarantee. maintenance chart etc etc.

The car has stood in a garage for 40 years. which must have been dry & heated as the car
is in exceptional unrestored condition. At some time the drivers door has been painted
probably due to a knock in the garage but apart from that it is untouched & is stunningly mint.
The chassis. engine bay. interior trim. dash. carpets. switches etc etc have to be seen to be beleived.

I sell a lot of mini's & recently saw a 2000 mile 60's MK1 mini sell at a London dealer at an
advertised price of £47. 00. there is also a 300 mile Mini Van MK1 advertised on Ebay at £42. 00.
Mini's are more common that the MK1 standard Escort. as many standard Escorts have been
broken for spares for the RS Escort models over the years for restoration. Therefore I think this
particular car could be a very very shrewd investment as it is selling for half those prices.
