A lovely. original 1988 Ford Orion 1. 6 Ghia Injection with just 35803 miles from new.

Finished in Diamond White. the paint still retains a deep. consistent shine throughout. This low mileage example has evidently been very well cared for throughout its life and it is difficult to believe that it is now 28 years old! The car really is in excellent condition and is completely corrosion free. The plastic bumpers are all free from damage or scuffs and the Red inserts still remain bright. The underside is still protected by its factory applied under seal and it is clearly visible that the car has never had any welding work carried out. it is just lovely and clean.

The interior is again excellent. The seats still remain firm and there is no stretching at all to the cloth. The carpet. headlining. dashboard etc are all free from damage and the car still smells like new. The original Ford Radio Cassette and 4 Channel Amplifier are still present and fully functional. The Electric Windows. Fuel Computer and Heated Front Windscreen are all in perfect working order. The Tilt/Slide factory Sunroof is smooth in operation and the sunroof channels are clean and free from corrosion. The only thing worthy of mention is the vinyl on the drivers side door has lifted slightly. however. this does not detract from just how lovely the interior is.

The original Alloy Wheels are free from damage and are shod with matching Pirelli tyres. the front ones being brand new and the rears still have approximately three quarters of their tread remaining.

The car runs and drives like new. as you would expect for such a low mileage and well cared for example. The car is booked in this week to have a cam belt service. just for peace of mind for the new owner and is mot'd until 22nd June 2017.

First registered on 15th November 1988 by Soans Ford of Leamington. this superb example remained in the same ownership for over 20 years and has had just 3 previous owners in total. Supplying dealer number plates and rear window sticker are present. although we do suspect that these may be recreations? Ordered from new with the dealer fitted RS Rear Spoiler and the Sunroof Wind Deflector. both of which. still remain. The car has also got the very rare option of Power Assisted Steering. again. very likely to be Ford dealer fitted.

Complete with the original Hand Book wallet. containing owners manual. stamped service book. audio operating instructions. accessory guides etc. a host of old mot certificates and old tax discs are also present.

A very rare sight on our roads today and low mileage examples of this calibre are still useable and sure to be a good investment.
