Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.25) based on 190 votes

Just consigned from a private collection is this beautiful. all-original. numbers-matching 1972 Chevrolet Corvette with 57k miles. This Vette is equipped with a small block 350ci/255hp. Muncie 4-speed transmission. Power Steering. Power Brakes. Tilt Wheel and added factory side pipes. The body is super straight and the SHOW-quality paint just glows in the sun! The Bryar Blue paint with the black interior is a very sharp color combination. The car has a nice stance and street appearance. Most everything still works! It has been owned by the current owner since 1994 and has been stored in a heated garage and covered most of its life. The car runs and handles like new! Fly in and Drive this home!

This is a rare classic car with a low reserve to protect some of its value. Bid retractions are not accepted. Retracting your bid for an incorrect amount without entering a corrected amount is a clear attempt to reveal the Reserve as well as a violation of eBay policy. We block bidders who violate this policy and also report the violation to eBay. If the reserve is not met we will work with the high bidder to complete the sale.

Body: The body is all original. No repairs or accidents. The body on this Vette is straight as an arrow with great body gaps and no spiderwebbing or bonding-strip issues. The 20+ year old Bryar Blue paint is in excellent condition and is SHOW quality! It is a superb paint job with no mottling. overspray. chips or other issues. It does have one scratch on the back side of the front fender and some micro chips on the very bottoms of the fenders from the tires. Again. the body is straight and the visible areas of paint are near perfect. The hood was added and is not the original to the car.

All of the chrome and stainless is in great shape. Looks like the rear bumpers were replaced at some point with NOS pieces.

Interior: Most everything are the original pieces it was born with. Most of the Black interior is in great condition. Dash pad and seat are beautiful! Dash cluster is in great condition with all gauges and lettering clearly visible. All gauges and lights work. Carpeting was replaced. Console is showing some wear from the seat belts rubbing and does have some cracks. A Hurst Shifter was added at some point in its life. Door panels are original and are showing their age with some cracking on the leading upper edges. Most of the rest of the interior is in good-to-great shape (kick panels. plastic interior trim. seat belts. etc). All the gauges and electrical components work (directionals. wipers. radio. horn. blower etc). Pop-up headlights and wiper cowling do work! One interior light no longer works. Reverse lights are not working. All of the original T-Tops and back glass come with the car even though they are not pictured. All fit as they should! The factory alarm system is no longer working.

Drivetrain: The driveline is all original and numbers matching. The 350ci/255hp motor runs perfectly with no noise. smoke or even leaks and has plenty of power and that great muscle car rumble. It appears that the engine may have been rebuilt at some point since it appears to have been decked indicated by machining marks left. The front pad engine numbers are partially there and barely readable. Not sure if all the accessories (water pump. dist. carb. alt. etc) on the motor are all original components. The original Muncie transmission has not been touched. It operates and functions like new. Power steering and power brakes work perfectly! Rear-end is all original with a new fiberglass leaf spring just installed. Driveshafts have been rebuilt. Looks like the original calipers are still present with no leaks.

Undercarriage: Is in excellent condition. no cracks or damage. Frame is solid and straight with no repairs or damage. Factory side pipes and headers were installed a few years ago. New gas tank was just installed. Emergency brake system is present but the owner has stated it has not been used in years. Newer B. F. Goodrich tires are in great shape as are the rims and trim rings.

Note: Car comes with no receipts. clear title stating 38. 02 actual miles with 57. 57 miles showing on the working odometer and two sets of keys.
