California Built  -Never Winter Driven -Heated Garage Stored

This Malibu Super Sport was built at the Van Nuys. California plant in 1964. This one is refinished in the original rare Goldwood Yellow (a Malibu SS only color) and has the 327 CID (Block Casting number 3858180 -decked pad) with the 4-speed transmission. Upgrades when the engine was rebuilt. included an HEI distributor. a new 4bbl Carburetor. aluminum intake. higher volume oil pump. "old school" 202 Camelback heads and an upgraded cam. Other options include power steering. brakes. top and an AM radio. The VIN: 45867L105305 will decode to prove that it was built as a true Malibu SS with a V8 engine. in Van Nuys. California.
Our seller purchased this very cool Malibu SS convertible from Nevada (near Lake Tahoe) four years ago. It had lived in California and Nevada since it was built. The seller told him that it had been in covered storage for 25 years before he purchased it (although mileage on the odometer of 46. 62 can not be guaranteed). The seller said.

"Due to the impeccable condition of the car. restoration parts were minimal". He stated that the engine was rebuilt at the time of restoration. which he said also included the following: "Carpet. trunk mat. fuel tank & pump. rebuilt 4-speed Muncie transmission. 4 barrel carburetor. intake & distributor. mufflers. master cylinder. clutch & flywheel. starter. battery. fan shroud. Hurst shifter. "
