VOLKSWAGEN CADDY MK1

Welcome to my auction For Sale is my Mk1 caddy pickup I bought this 2 years ago and carried out a full strip and rebuild.  I have done lots to this car I'll try and remember all or most of it. I took pictures so it's all logged and proven. Engine swap from a 1. 6 d to an AAZ 1. 9 td KKK24 turbo adjustable waste gateAAZ pump fueling adjusted and 1. 6td needle. Engine had a full strip and clean all new gaskets new belts . il pump. Photos to prove. Oil catch tank fitted.  Gearbox 02a 5 speed. Wiring loom unwound and re wrapped in felt tape.  Engine bay painted with engine out. New lower arms and bushes. 2. 5" mild steel exhaust direct from turbo to exit with a stainless end. Cone filter with custom inlet. Strut brace bar. New front panel. new front wings genuine vw replacement parts from heritage. New headlights and indicators.  New front bumper Stainless number plate bracket.  Full bare metal respray. Lots of photos Bed blasted and red oxide painted. Rust cut out and patched up on bed.  Interior was stripped cleaned painted in primer and sound deadened using 5mm super quality sound stuff for speakers. Original vw heritage sound deadening put on top then carpeted. Roof was sound deadened also and a black roof lining put in.  Recaro opal manta gte seats fitted (longer squabs and matching colours)Bulk head sponged and suede lined door cards to match Window winder handles changed and modified for skate board wheels T4 gear extensions  with 8 ball knob 8ball door lock pins. Throttle pedal is a Snap on ratchet conversion a bit funky.  Seats are welded direct to floor with strengthens bars put in across cab again photos to prove.  Centre console fitted 3x gauges I scrimped on these and they work at best on a hot day with a north east wind on a B road at 70. If you get my drift.  Sony radio fitted but used as a time piece as colours matched car . speaker wires in place just not bothered.  I painted the car myself I'm not a pro but it had.  3 coats of primer rub down primer again wet top coat Rub down and then 2 coats of top all over.  3 layers of laquer.  All done in a booth.  Rebuilding . rear axle flipped and on 2"blocks New coil overs on front new top bearings Gti front brakes fitted (vented still shit but hey ) New wheels bbs reps Stretched tyres brand new nankangs (covered 600miles) still brand new.  New door exterior handles New exterior mirrors. Floppy wipers fitted Grill painted gti red. I've probably forgotten lots but you get the idea.  If you want pics I'll e mail them to you. It's lots easier.
