 1982 Big Block Camaro
This car started out as a docile 3. 9 straight six car but at some point in its life someone has decided to turn it to the dark side and done a pretty good job too.
Its had a 454 ci V8 dropped in it that was professionally fitted by Dart. the Corvette specialists in Kent. showing correct engine and casting numbers which has been changed and recorded correctly on the log book. this is now married to a TH400 gearbox that is controlled by a B&M quick shifter. other engine mods to name a few :- Flame thrower ignition. extra twin electric fans that are manually controlled. Holly 4 Barrel carb. Headers etc etc.  The car sits on American racing alloys with Hercules tyres the rears being only a month old and the biggest I could get that would sit in the arches. the car has air suspension on the rear that can be pumped up as required.
Bodywork is pretty good and the car has a glass fibre bonnet that lifts off completely with a huge bulge to house the air filter. The whole car has been blown over in a satin black which although wouldn't win any paint competitions it suits this car and gives it a mean as f**k look. interior is original. not brilliant but OK. has an after market tacho fitted and a nice steering wheel which sits central and straight when the car is moving. Overall the car drives really nice with great manners when driven sensibly but stick your foot to the floor and the back end will light up without a problem!
Car has just under 11 months MOT and is taxed til the end July. has done less than 500 miles on new oil and filter which was changed professionally by AVS in Braintree who checked the whole car over and gave it the thumbs up.
