1981 Porsche 911

Clear title. zero rust. excellent mechanical condition. thoroughly maintained. private seller.

This car has been in the family for 12 years and has been meticulously maintained. nbsp;garaged. nbsp;and only used Swepco 15w40 engine oil and Swepco transmission oil.   All of the necessary 911SC 3. 0 engine specific upgrades have been performed including Carrera timing chain tensioners (oil lines replaced 2016). ARP head studs (October 2014). Turbo Valve Covers. etc.   When the head studs were replaced. a leakdown test was performed with excellent results.   This engine is very healthy.   There are no vacuum leaks and the car drips very little oil.   The engine burns no oil and maintains great oil pressure.   There are no overheating issues. even in 90+ degree heat.   This car has never been in an accident.

The 915 transmission shifts perfectly with none of the bad habits that are rumored to plague these units.   I've recently replaced all of the shifter and linkage bushings for good measure.  

The sunroof is 100% functional and does not leak.   I removed and reinstalled the entire sunroof and mechanism last year for cleaning and lubricating.  

The suspension has fresh bushings all around and feels very "tight. "   I replaced the steering column bushing last year with a polyurethane replacement/upgrade as well.  

The brakes are perfect and currently run Zimmerman rotors.   The brake fluid was replaced 4 months ago.   The brake light sensors on the master cylinder were replaced as well.

The power mirrors are 100% functional.   The heater works perfectly as well as the defroster - including the booster motor under the dash.
