1974 TRIUMPH GT6 RED (Baby Jaguar e Type)

Triumph gt6 1974 The time has come to sell my lovely GT6 . The car has been a project for the last 6 months and is now ready to be sold to some lucky chap/lady.
The car came to me complete but needed finishing as the previous owner had family commitments and had no time to get the car finished.
There is extensive photographic portfolio showing a ground up rebuild which started mid 90's but as I said the guy didn't have time to finish it has had new sills and quarters and a few other repairs done by a specialist triumph garage in the mid 90's but are no longer there then was dry stored pretty much until it came in to my ownership
we have carried out the rest of the project and it is now finished and is now a lovely looking car we have receipts going back years for all the work that's been and as you can imagine it runs into thousands. he last owner was a very capable man regards to cars and a lot of the servicing was carried out by himself . he carried out an engine lubrication upgrade to get oil supply straight up on to the cam shaft which was a common failier on these engines. he also carried out a sports exhaust upgrade and it looks great and sounds the business (I can only describe it like it sounds like the James Bond Aston Martin)
The gt6 also comes with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear which makes keeping up with modern traffic a lot more bearable as the engine is not screaming along it handles it very well .
The engine has just had a full service as has the rear diff and gearbox there are no knocks or bangs or noises that shouldn't be there. inside the car it has had a brand new carpet set and door cards and this shows when your inside the car it also has had new foam in the seats to make the ride a lot more forgiving
on the outside of the car there is not a patch or spot of rust and all metal is good (hasn't just been painted over like some out there) It is presented in the original red it came out the factory with and looks absolutely stunning I cant go anywhere without people stopping and pointing at it as for going the supermarket in it forget it I went the other day and ended up chatting to several older gentleman telling me that this was there dream car took me about an hour to get some milk. The wheels have all been stripped to bear metal and repainted and are flawless the tyres are like new 7mm on them all and they are all matching. underneath has been fully undersealed and looks very tidy.
This GT6 is bit of a rare beast. on the website "how many left"  there are only 4 on the road being a 1974 this makes this a rare car I think it was around 700 from the last one ever off the line. it has chrome around the dials. cloth interior. and the seats have headrests.
overall this car is the business I am sure if you were to take it to a show you would come out with a trophy it drives well sounds well and looks well and whoever becomes the new owner should have years of fun driving this around.
