Reconditioned last year after 30 years in dry storage. nbsp;this lovely old Rover  did us proud at my daughter's wedding this summer. She comes with soft top. tonneau cover and sidescreens for all-weather comfort!. She has had one owner since the V5 was invented. She was restored sometime ago and you can see that the wrong sort of paint was used. nbsp;which has lead to the "crazed" look.  The brass is also faded and the carpets worn. but I love the look as it is and really had to resist the urge to polish and replace.  There are tons of spares including new. unused pistons and rings. gudgeons. gauges and gaskets; axles. wheels. yres and brake parts - all included in the sale.  The original lead-acid battery is even present and holding charge after 90 years! She also comes with original buff log book. owners manual and loads  of other documents/receipts. Tax and MOT exempt.
When I got her out this morning to take photos. she started on the 3rd turn of the handle with no choke. having been unused for a month and has been running on the button (fora 90 year old!).  At the time of advertising I could not find another example for sale in the UK. so this is a rare opportunity to acquire a lovely piece of motoring history for the price of a used Mondeo. You can return her to a"new" condition" or just enjoy her as she is.  Everything is so simple to work on that even the most amateur (like me!) mechanic can keep her on the road.
After the wedding I feel she has done her job for us and would like to see here go on to seomeone who can enjoy her more than I am able.  Will consider something interesting in exchange.  Particularly keen on 1940's American car or truck.
