Very nice example of a 1964 Thunderbird that i restored for my customer three years ago 390 engine was bored . 030 over heads done with hardened seats and bronze guides . transmission and rear axle gone through also . All new brakes . . 5 inch dual exhaust with stainless magnaflow mufflers has a nice mellow sound. New steering gear . uel tank and sender. reproduction AGM battery. windshield. very body gasket replaced . many dollars spent on rechroming including each grille bar and tailight bezels which were originally anodized so they really pop now.  Bumpers and guards rechromed . valve covers and air cleaner also and all high quality show chrome .  Exterior was stripped . epoxy primed and painted with ppg basecoat original chantilly beige poly and then cleared . etsanded and buffed body is really nice . Interior is mostly original all we did was clean it and install a new carpet and a quartz clock movement.  Tilt away steering was rebuilt .  The wheels and tires are also new cost approx. $2500 . less than 500 miles on this complete restoration.  This is a one family owned vehicle and is being listed for the estate original miles showing are 69. 56 and much of the engine/transmission work we had to do was due to mothers crooked mechanic not servicing it and charging her for it .  If your looking to buy one of these cars this is a once in a lifetime find . buy it now price would barely buy the parts to restore one of these cars .  Your welcome to come see the car in person it is located at Sargents Auto Rebuild .
