1948 Chrysler New Yorker sedan

Up for auction is this very 'majestic' 1948 Chrysler 4 door sedan with original flathead eight cylinder engine with 2 speed fluid drive transmission. The engine starts effortlessly and runs excellent with no smoking at any time.   It has a 2 speed fluid drive tranny and shifts good as it should.   It has new plugs and plugwires along with a fresh tune-up & oil change.   The car is all original except paint which is 20 yrs old and shows very nice with a few very minor dings. However. overall very presentable.   The body. floorpans. trunk. underside including rockers. perches. body mounts are all intact with zero rust-through anywhere. It is 100% sound body & underneath too.   It is a very rare to find this solid underneath.   The doors. hood. trunk windows all close as they should.   The glass is all good.   The gauges including the gas. ampmeter. temperature. speedo and wipers all work.   The headlights. tailghts. blinkers. foglights and courtesy lights all work.   The car has dual heaters and blowers that work on both sides.   The chrome is all intact and in good shape.   The bumpers are in nice shape as is the grill. The dash looks very nice. headliner is nice with only minor staining near the bottom edge in back.   The seats are original and in nice shape.   The car has a very nice and clean engine compartment. The car steers straight down the road and cruises nice at 60 MPH with no wandering.   The radial tires are almost new with low miles. The actual mileage unknown.

In review this is a great running. 100%. excellent driving unmolested daily driver with no known issues. I have done my best to describe this car and I am sure a new owner will be very delighted!
