1981 Chevrolet Corvette

     love this car the story. I bought this car on ebay on 3/26/2013 it had 25300 miles on it. The car had been garaged for some time due to the passing of owner. Car was purchased on around July 1981  in pa and was brought to Florida   at that time. I have all receipts from org owner he changed the oil a lot for a car with low miles. car was brought back to pa in late 1997 where it sat in a heated garage till I bought it in 2013. I have never driven this car in the snow or rain and has always be in a heated garage and covered all the time only drove for pleasure and to finger lakes and once to walkens glen race track where I did 6 laps on the track at up to 80mph and car held and rode great I do have a inside clip .
   as per pictures the paint is all original last cars painted in st louis there are some minor chips that have been brush touched all and all for a 35 yr old car paint still shines like crazy and no fade at all . lass is great all lights work and are intact rims and center caps great tires have 2k miles on  them if that. interior is red leather like new rugs ditto no rips cracks or anywhere all gauges work great all dash lights work great alarm still works and well engine runs great and looks great no leaks transmission also shifts great drives smooth as new. I did put a magna flow true duel muffler and all pipes on this sounds great not loud just perfect. the glass roof panels are new gm factory spec oem tops paid 1500. 00 for these I still have the org white tops that are in like new Cond that come with car. I do have a story book that come with car with all org paperwork from dealer new and all receipts from that time as well as all books and brochures that came with car . also all work that I did to car as well. I did replace raido and rear speakers with a auto sound vintage am/am radio and sound bar in rear org am FM 8 track and rear speakers will come with car and will go right back in . radiator was just replaced with a racing aluminum larger one that was made for the car and runs about 30 percent cooler org radiator will come with car will need new necks that was the only issue with it. And did I mention all ac parts and hoses were replaced and has ice cold air yep they were  not sure if I have org parts if I do they will be there
  Now for what I did . please note that I did these things only because car sat so long I didn't want any issues down the road this car is my baby and I was going to keep it forever but as you can see by the pictures I also bought a 1978 pacecar last year with 14k on it so I really don't need 2 as my better half  states lol lol  and I would like to get a 1975 or 6 sometime soon maybe  lol lol  the following is a list of what was done to this car by me or the great crew at corvette performance and specialty  in Amherst ny   aslo note all parts that I replaced I kept and will be included in the sale some new part as well that I didn't use  except muffler and pipes also just put a brand new carb on the car with same numbers as org and is brand new not a rebuild and don't have org again same numbers as org so car is still a numbers matching car  . car will be sold as is no warranty shipping will be up to buyer I will help if I can but depending on where u live  you could just come here to buffalo ny have some wings pizza and beef on weck and drive this baby home and love life  a non refundable 1000. 00 paypal deposit is due at time of winning bid good luck to winner you will love this car . as I do   list to follow remember all parts that were replaced will be in car for you except carb and muffler and pipes  thanks steve anyquestion or more photos   stevehart10@yahoo. com thanks
