1969 Morris minor saloon 1000 4 door in smoke grey (Lucy)This car was a full nut and bolt restoration in 2000 when we purchased it. Lucy also had a new factory replacement engine at 88537 miles and a reconditioned 1100 gearbox at 90000 miles. Since purchasing she has done only 1400 miles over the past 15 years now showing 94. 90 milesSlik 50 engine treatmentNo rot whatsoever and looks stunning in smoke grey with shiny chrome. although not perfect you will be hard pressed to find many in as good condition as this. Interior lovely in red. All seats excellent as are the carpets. Good strong starter and pulls/ accelerates well keeping easily up with modern day traffic. Just had mot done and full brakes overhaul. Has been garaged under dustsheets. All chrome excellent apart from front top rail directly beneath bonnet that is pitted (£45 for new one)Bodywork is excellent there are some minor marks and some micro blistering to roof and bonnet on close inspection due to being kept for long period under dust sheet. This however is being hyper critical seen only when up very close and has remained unchanged for last 10 years. Inner wheel arches still very clean with smoke grey paint finishlucy is also a film star and has been used for period television by itv including last of the summer wine.
