This car is a driver. If you want something sweet and pretty and perfect this is not there yet. If you want a car to work with that is mechanically sound. with  terrific power and is a joy to drive. read on.
To make this car gorgeous you would need a new top. new paint (There is no apparent rust and I did some light touch up). eat covers. some engine compartment chrome and paint. Then onto the tiny stuff: the chrome needs some love. the weather seals are ragged. it has a small exhaust leak. a new gauge or two. glove box and steering column cover needs repair etc etc. all this stuff is readily available thru catalog vendors (I can provide this info/whatever catalogs I have around) and none of this impacts how it performs. YOU CAN DRIVE IT RIGHT AWAY! (The power is. not subtle).
The Ford Ranger V6 in this car was fully rebuilt by an engine shop (I have all the original documents which outline the work done and the cost. $3500  plus the cost of the original engine). I have about 1500 miles on the engine. It has flattop pistons--port and polish. a special mid-range cam for cruise power and a brand spanking new 4 barrel Holley. This is what the shop suggested when I told them I wanted a strong driver for hills and curves and general driving fun.  The transmission is a rebuilt Mustang T5. New clutch etc. The tires and brakes have 1500 miles on them. the electrical is mostly new (we used the old tail light wiring). The car is a sweetie and I have a ton of time and cash in it but I have had my fun and now I am selling it because  I have a hard time getting in and out of it.
