My Mazda MX5 was registered new on the 30th of June 2004 by the supplying dealer “Jennings Mazda” as a pre-registered/demonstrator. before passing on to the first private owner. There has been another two previous owners. An elderly doctor who decided after purchasing the car that he was no longer fit enough to climb in and out. He would own the car for just over 8 months before selling the car to the current owner. My Mazda has been very well cared for and has been serviced five times. Averaging a service every 7463 miles from new. The manufacturer recommends every 12500 miles.

Exterior Condition: The bodywork of my Mazda MX5 is really very nice. With the exception of perhaps a very small blemish (the worst being a couple of chips) the exterior panels and paint work is in exceptional order. Looking down the side of the car all the panels retain a glass like finish. The true red paint colour has retained the factory finish. All the door checks are immaculate and polished and the chrome branded sill treads are unmarked. The underside is solid.  You would be hard pushed to find fault at all.

Interior Condition: The cloth roof lining is immaculate and unmarked. The floor carpets are the same. The cloth seat materials are in really exceptional condition including the seat bolsters. All the dash materials are perfect. The passenger seat and floor area is immaculate. The floor carpets have been protected with factory branded carpet mats from new. I can't stress enough how nice the interior is. It is near new condition.

Boot Compartment: immaculate. dry and showing little sign of being used. The black floor carpets are immaculate and the plastic trims are free from scuffs. The tools and locking wheel nut key are all present.  

Engine Compartment: All the panels are free from dust and oil. Having been regularly cleaned and polished with a quality silicone. (See my pictures).

Alloy Wheels and Tyres: All four alloy wheels are in very good condition. There is a little bit of kerbing. nothing for its years. (Please see my pictures). The rear tyres have excellent tread depth and the front tyres were recently fitted new.        

On the Road: My car drives as you would expect it to. The steering feels taught and precise. The suspension is firm and comfortable. The engine runs smooth. quiet and the gears change up and down the box with ease. The clutch is light and has an early biting point. All the cabin electrics work as they should. Everything is just right.  

This is a really well presented MX5 1. 8i. I can't stress enough how nice my car is. It has the 1. 8i engine coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission which gives relaxed cruising and excellent power (125bhp) when needed.   The engine mechanics and all electrical options are in perfect working order. The car drives as it should.

My car needs nothing. The Mot isn't due until May 2017 and a new service has just been completed. There is really nothing left for the new owners to do. A genuine low mileage MX5 and ready to drive away.
