1965 Ford Mustang 302 Fastback in Vintage Burgundy Metallic for sale

Manufactured at the Metuchen plant in New Jersey in April 1965. this Mustang A Code Fastback has benefited from structural. cosmetic and mechanical restoration and upgrades by the previous owner. The car left the factory as a genuine A Code. 4V V8 in April 1965 with the additional benefits of a limited slip differential. 3. 00:1 gearing and the C4 automatic transmission. The car is now equipped with 302 V8. GT driving lights. GT rear valance. GT exhaust trumpets. disc brakes. power steering and a nicely restored set of Shelby aluminium road wheels. Restoration works have included new floors. full repaint in Vintage Burgundy metallic. new carpets. dash pad and a new "Autowire" wiring harness.

The Fastback is. by far. the rarest of the first generation Mustang's. The model was introduced in September 1964. some 6 months after the hardtop coupe and convertible. accounting for less than 20% of production in 1965/66.
