1967 Chevrolet Camaro - 350 Small Block - 2 Speed Glide - WOW!

1967 Chevrolet Camaro - 350 V8 - 2 Speed Power - Glide. br>I took this Camaro in P/X a couple of weeks ago. and out of any P/X you could have. I'm glad it was this. A California car from new. no rot or rust apparent anywhere. just laser straight bodywork and Grabber Orange paint. Interior is black vinyl and in lovely condition. as is headliner and carpet and new steering wheel. I was told the motor was freshened a short time ago and looking at it. i have no reason to doubt. super clean and on the button with it just being serviced. no smoke whatsoever and pulls like a train.
The 2 speed glide shifts positively and selects all gears just as it should. the ride is nice and the car sounds fantastic through its new exhaust system. I have inspected the under side of the car and can tell you its originality is breathtaking. The quarters appear to be the originals as do the floors. The rear chassis legs where the rot is a problem on these 1st and 2nd gen cars has no signs of anything. not even surface rust. the person who found this car and restored it really did find the best choice to start with. a far cry from some of the horror stories you find today.
The Boot is amazing. rock solid with correct fleck paint finish. simply perfect.
The wheels are 14" Steels shod with new BF Goodrich Radial TA's. Engine bay is detailed and looks mint with a real "All Steel" 2" Cowl Hood and correct underside insulation. Motor is turn key. some yanks have to be nurtured from cold but this one sits and idles lovely from cold. Car is MOT'd until mid October so ready to go. there is also a folder full of receipts from back in the day when it resided in Cali - a nice piece of history to go with it.
Please study the pics. its not a 100 point car. but a very usable driver quality vehicle that would suit show and shine days. £25. 00 doesn't go far these days with muscle cars. but this shows great value. Older vehicles like these have rattles and squeaks and do require time and effort to keep them in a usable condition. This car is not new. and hasn't been for 49 years - if you like purchasing a car from a forecourt and love having a warranty when your radio won't select the required station - this is not for you. don't waste my time or yours because you've just watched The Fast & The Furious. It has rattles and squeaks like old cars do.
If you have something to the value of £10K as a P/X I Might be interested (but please no House Of Fraser valuations on yours). eBay Rules would have to be followed throughout though etc.
