1985 Ford capri 2. 8A rover 3. 5 V8 has been fitted with the LT77 box.
I bought this car as it is now a year ago with the intention of fully doing it up. but plans have now changed. The only thing i have done since buying it has been to totally rebuild the engine.
Components replacedcamshaftvalve lifterspiston rings and bearingscrankshaft bearingsall sealsnew cam chain and sprocketsrebuilt heads. reseated valves valves sealshead gasketsnew alternatorrebuilt holley carb. using holley rebuild kitnew chrome plated rocker coversall engine components were extensively cleaned and polished before being refitted
A lot of hours of hard work went into the engine rebuild. happy to answer any questions.
Engines now runs and sounds excellent. no usual rover v8 tappet noise.
Body work is very good for its age. nbsp;I'm guessing its original but I'm not 100%Interior is very good for its age. only the usual wear and tear from being 31 years old.

Can’t believe I’ve just seen this car, I used to own it some 15 years back, it was me that put the transfer on the boot lid ‘sometimes things are not as they seem’
Absolutely loved the old girl, passed everything bar a fuel station :)
Cheeky question but what’s the best price, I sold it all that time ago for 3800.00
