1967 Oldsmobile 442. Holiday Sport Coupe. (hardtop coupe).

$7. 00. 00 price reduction.   Need to move it.   Priced far less than 'book' states.

Saffron Yellow. with black vinyl top

Very good condition.   Car is not a 100pt showcar. but is in exceptional condition for its age.   Starts. runs. drives fine and could be a good weekend cruiser. parade car. hobby car. hang out with friends in car club type car.   It handles in town driving and interstate speeds all fine.   The 200r4 makes the car far easier to drive at interstate speeds by taking RPMs off cuise speed.  Have never had any overheating issues.

200r4 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission with 3. 91 Posi. ('71 8. 5 Oldsmobile 10 bolt. car originally had 3. 08)  Just had transmission gone through by Norfolk transmission shop before installation.   Single wire solenoid for OD. off of both brake and vacuum switches.   No computer involved.  Original TH400 will go with car.

Motor is believed to be original 400ci/350hp. Heads were recently done by Magnum Machine in Chesapeake. all new guides. valves. hardened seats. springs. headgaskets. ARP head bolts.

A/C car. does not currently work. unhooked. MOST parts seem to be there. but assume you'd have to restore/refurb the parts. (fan blows)

Extensive restoration of all 'wear parts'. full suspension (all bushings. idler arm. drag link. control arms painted. spindles blasted/cleaned painted. etc. ). shock/springs. brake (drums. shoes. brake cylinders replaced. backing plates cleaned and painted). fuel (from tank to carb replaced) and steering (pump. hoses. gearbox) systems replacements. (many of original parts available if you want to take). Radiator and heater hoses and heater core replaced. Engine and A/C wiring harnesses replaced.   You will never have to spend that money. saving you thousands of dollars (literally. ).

Car had undercoating which protected it for all these years.   I have removed at least some and painted frame rails and some of pans with Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black.

Instrument panel bezel was rechromed (plastic chrome as original) and looks great. AutoMeter American Muscle Tach on column. Stewart Warner mechanical oil pressure and water temp gauges beneath dash.

There is a ton of restoration/replacement that has been done on this car. which truly saves you thousands in future costs.

Pricing is based on Collector Car Market Review. NADA Classic Car Value guide. online listings. etc. I have not seen a 67 "muscle car" in this condition. at this price. (Edit:  I've now lowered price well below what I consider 'book' to be. )  Also attempting to sell the car locally. rather than having to use regional or national effort if at all possible. I do have arrangements with a top car carrier if needed.   Would consider limited options such as 2003 2004 Mustang GT Convertible or a very low mileage 2000-2002 Seville STS or Touring (cannot have Northstar already with problems) with sun/moonroof (plus cash) (something my wife can drive).

Thank you for looking.   I'm ready to move car for extremely reasonable price.   And while not being rude. please do not simply use contact for photo gathering or data collection.   Please feel free to contact me to inspect car.   If you have local contact to inspect. I'll meet them.   While I won't take the car anywhere and 'leave it'. I encourage onsite inspection.   Car as expected is sold as is. where is. with no representation or warranty explicit or implied.   Bid is not for chance to inspect.   Bid is to purchase.   Please use listing period for inspection.   Car is as accurately described as possible. but you are responsible for your own diligence.
