Selling my hardy. kitted out Ford Raider due to failure to renew registration on time and the costs associated with this.

 

General Summary of Car

- 1995 Ford Raider 4wd Raised Station Wagon

- Automatic Transmission.

- 4 cl. 2. 6L engine.

- 246000kms

- Extended 108 litre unleaded petrol tank. In my experience does up to 800kms to the tank.

- Last serviced Feb 2016. It was also recently checked over by registered mechanic to give an indication of most reasonable selling price.  

- All new 4x4 Tyres Aug 2015

- New Battery October 2015

- No aircon but has sunroof

 

Additional features.

- Raised suspension. Excellent when offroading. especially for beach driving and creek crossings.

- LED lights

- Bull bar

- UHF Radio

- 2 x Tow Bars


To be addressed before reregistering.

- Steering. She has an extra wide turning cycle to the right. Differing views from registered mechanics as to whether the steering column is bent or if there is just a screw loose. Have had no problems driving it like this but obviously needs to be fixed to pass the roadworthy.

- Large dent in rear left passenger door. door still opens and closes so doesn't affect roadworthy.

 - No internal locking button on front passenger door. can be locked from outside with key.

- Manifold gasket has a minor leak. This just means making sure to keep an eye on the oil but it is not a major immediate issue and simple enough to replace yourself.

- Slight crack in rear right tail light. will need to replaced for roadworthy.

- Electrical fault in speedometer caused by loose or dirty connectors. Can be easily fixed.

- Rear brake pads due for a change. Front brakes replaced within last 12 months.


Comes with spare parts if wanted - Cargo Barrier. Oil Filters. Timing Belts. Tow Rope. 2 x scissor jacks. tools.

In the year I have owned her she has proved easy to maintain. very hardy and comfortable to sleep in with 2 or 3 people.

Hello how's it going, I've just recently bought a raider and wondering what roof racks and bull bar you have on the beast? I'm down in NSW just looking for some extras, any info is greatly appreciated thanks!
