1966 XR Fairmont 289 V8 in SA for sale

I always thought that I would come back to finishing off my dream car that I started 20 years ago but life had other ideas with a family arriving and other interests taking priority I never regained a passion.
The paint is in poor condition and I would be giving it a complete respray. There is rust in a few spots with the worst being around the rear window. The other places being in the doors.
The original colour was a green. I had it resprayed the blue it is now which is a Daihatsu colour (B 21 from memory).
It has been de-badged but I still have all the original badges plus some other small bit and pieces I took off.
The rims are genuine Ford 12 slots with GT hubcaps but I couldn't tell you where they were sourced as they were on the car when I bought it.
It has been converted to a T-bar auto which was also done before I purchased it.
It has the original factory front disc brakes (not ventilated) and has rear drums.
The interior is in reasonably good condition considering its age aside from a big rip in the headlining and cracks in the seat.
The original ID plate is missing. from memory when the body was sandblasted.
The chassis number is JG 34 FG 32113.
It is an original V 8 and has not been converted from a 6. The engine was rebuilt however and the block needed to be replaced but I did update the engine number on the car's registration.
The engine has not being started for almost 10 years and so would more than likely require a full rebuild.
Engine features:Ported heads Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold Holley 600 carb Pacemaker exhaust headers. twin system Accel electronic ignition Not running and no brake fluid in the brakes so would need a tow.
