1967 was one of the best years for Chevrolet and the Chevelle and is still one of the most sought out years to this day. The 1967 Chevelle just has that look that everyone likes. This 1967 Chevy Chevelle is a 136 code car which is a Malibu. It is the same body and style as the 138 SS car. It has SS Badges on it. This car came from factory with a small block engine. It also has a bench seat and was an automatic car with a column shifter. Those are long gone. It now has a Fresh Built 454 Big Block engine that was just completed and has less than 500 miles on it. I have the receipt from the place in Jasper. Alabama who built the engine and it is broke down as to what all was put in it. The cost for this was around $4500. ( I did not have it built. the guy I bought it from did). It runs great and sounds awesome. He bought new ProCar Bucket Seats to replace the bench seat and they sit and look great. All the interior looks great. He replaced the automatic transmission with an M21 Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst Shifter. He had the correct brake pedal put in for a manual transmission. The Butternut Yellow paint looks very good. It has a nice black vinyl top that looks good and has no rust under it. The body is straight. The doors. hood and trunk all shut good and has good rubber. There are a couple small bubbles on drivers side rear quarter panel at the very bottom but you would have to look hard to see them. Other than that I have seen no rust anywhere. The underside of car looks great as far as floor pans and trunk pan. All glass is good. All lights work including headlights. taillights. blinkers. brake. interior and even lights behind the gauges. The speedometer needs new cable for manual transmission to work. The gas hand works sometimes and don't sometimes. It has a new sending unit in it so I think it a grounding issue. The rear is a 10 bolt with 3:31 gears so it's a great driver for the road. This is a very good car overall that looks great. It's not an SS car but it don''t have the SS price either for 1967 Chevelle in this condition. I have alot more more if anyone wants to see them. My contact number is available upon request.
This car is also available locally and on other sites so auction should end early. It is being sold as is with no warranty given or implied in anyway. You are welcome to come inspect this car anyway you would like before end of auction. No joy rides though. I must know you have the money to buy before driving it. If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. This car was bought out of Alabama which does not require titles on any vehicle older than 1975 so it had no title when I bought it. Since it didn't have a title then Georgia will not issue a title. It will be sold with a current Georgia registration. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking
