Up for sale is my 1947 diamond t rat rod fire truck   the body is super solid with very minimal rot (only on the fire truck rear body ) . i built the truck myself this past winter . the frame and running gear donor was a 1990 dodge d350 mason dump truck . i fabricated mounts to make the diamond t sit on that frame . the truck has a 5. 9 cummins diesel . and a 5 speed getrag manual transmission . dual rear wheels . i installed a new clutch and had the flywheel cut while in the process of the build . it has new brakes also installed during the build . all new brake lines . brake master cyl. - all new wiring . new gauges . which all function with the exception of the original speedo . the interior was painted with a light tan color and is dynamatted . didit steering collum with a replica 1940 ford steering wheel . custom made bench seat by rotten leanords . i made the shift console and door panels inserts with black cherry wood . dyna deck rubber sound deadner  covers the floor inside the truck . spanner wrench shifter handle to keep with the fire truck theme . engine mods include a smaller turbo housing for faster splooing of turbo . prince of darkness injectors . denny t fuel pin and mild adjustements on the injector pump to increase fuel and boost . i mounted the misumoto alum. radiator behind the cab on 1. 25 tubing subframe . along with dual derele fans and shroud . the truck runs very cool . (it holds roughly 12 gallons of antifreeze ) . the cooling system has been hard lined with exhaust pipe custom bent under the cab of the truck to the rear of cab . and is held in place by rubber pipe mounts under the cab . exhaust was custom made down pipe exiting through the passnger side front fender to a 7 foot long 6 inch diam. chrome stack that i laid on its side and mounted it in 2 extruded aluminum stack clamps on the running board . wheels are 19. 5 alcoas wrapped in cooper tires. i cut down a peterbilt sunvisor and mounted it to the truck with nutserts . head lights have the turn signals built into them . and i coated the headlights with black shading to keep the evil look . the truck has very good road manners and steers . stops and handles very well for a beast this size . the floor inside the fire truck body is raised up to clear the frame humps and wheel wells . fresh pine was cut and burned with a torch for the old wood look . i installed a fire truck air horn and air tank and compresssor under the bed also . this truck still has coil spring front suspension and rear leaf spring suspension . i removed about 1/2 the leafs from the rear for a better ride and to get the truck to sit level . this truck turns heads everywhere it goes . it won trick truck award at the GOODGUYS east coast nationals this past june . all bidders are welcome and encouraged to come see and hear this truck in person . the truck is for sale locally . so i reserve the right to end this auction at anytime .   the truck will be sold with a bill of sale only . he vin plate is there and shows all the info about the truck . any questions or concerns about the truck can call or text me at   845 902 8599      thank you  for looking at my truck and happy bidding !
