I bought this 1969 FJ40 from the family of the original owner. It is a New Mexico vehicle. purchased in Santa Fe in 1968 and has spent its entire life in Los Alamos New Mexico. The owner was a Lab scientist who owned and drove it until just a few years ago. I have much of the original documentation (see pictures).
This FJ40 has much of the typical rust that these are notorious for. i have taken very complete pictures of all the worst rust spots. All said it is a very sound body.
Runs and drives quite well. i drive it a couple days a week and it starts right up. It is street legal and reliable. When braking it does pull a bit to the right. and one of the rear brake lights is not working.
Everything works with the exception of the speedometer and odometer. the windshield wipers. and the heater/vents. i imagine they are simple fixes but i have not invested the time to figure them out yet.
This FJ40 is 100% original. and 100% unmolested. all the original components are their.
New set of BFG A/T Tires. new hoses. new belts. new radiator. new water pump.

It also comes with the five original rims that are not pictures on the vehicle.
