UNIQUE MED MINI FOR SALE 1380cc ENGINE

This is a Unique opportunity to buy a much loved Mini which was built from the ground up. All of the parts fitted are top quality and many of the key components such as the KAD 6 pots and stack dash are a rare find on classic road going Minis. The 1380cc MED engine has covered less than 15000 miles and was professionally built by MED at a cost of £4500. The engine was created with a bottom end built to cope with a wider cam or a more exotic race head at later date. This car is ideal for road or track day use ( although I must stress that the car has never been used for any form of Motorsport) 
To rebuild this car car today would cost a fortune with new body shells costing 4 K over £10. 000 has been spent on this car and I have most of the receipts to prove it.
Body Shell / Exterior (Constantly Garaged and covered) 
-In 1998 the car was re-shelled into a brand new Rover body shell. following the work the car was officially inspected and the V5 updated accordingly. -Regular application of wax oil from new. -The body shell is fitted with original Rover Sports-back Wheel arches.   -The Front wings are modified to fit and accept 13" wheels. -interior soundproofing with Dynamat-Safety Devices Front and Rear Roll cage fitted (with diagonal) -John Cooper Alloy Signatures and Alloy filler Cap 
Engine and Gearbox 
-1380cc Engine based on a A+ MG Metro block. -MED Road Competition 11 Stud cylinder head (with ARP nuts and bolts)-MED Hi-lift 1. 5 Ratio Roller Rockers-Omega cast Pistons-Re-Ground crankshaft. Ni Temperd /X drilled / Bladed / Wedged-Polished and lightened A+ connecting rods    (with ARP nuts and bolts)-Kent 286 Camshaft with Duplex timing chain. -Lightened and balanced steel flywheel-Pre Verto clutch with Orange diaphragm-Straight cut close ratio gearbox with 3. 9 final drive-KAD quickshift-Twin 1. 5 SU Carbs fitted with Ram pipes and Piper-cross foam filter
Suspension and Braking (rare KAD 6 pots) -KAD 6 pot Calipers-Front 7. 9 Vented Discs with Braided Hoses-Late Spec Rover Servo Pedal Box -SPAX adjustable dampers front and rear -HI- LOWS adjustable trumpets with standard rubber cones-Negative camber lower arms (-1. 5 degrees)-Heavy duty adjustable track rods and longer track rod ends 
Wheels and Tires (CUSTOM MADE 13" IMAGE SPLIT RIMS) -Image 13" Billet alloy split rims wheels -Dunlop 3000 175x50xR13 tyres ( KAD setup can accept 10" wheels if desired)
