1999 Rover Mini 40 Limited Edition, Old English White, 1 Owner, Low Mileage

Here we have for sale a Rover Mini 40 limited edition in old English white.

The Mini 40 was a limited edition model released to celebrate the 40th birthday of the Mini.

A total of 250 were made with only 50 cars made in this colour for the UK market. so a very rare car!

All Mini 40's were 'sports pack' cars and came with luxury interiors. including leather upholstery. as well as the twin point injection 1275cc engine.

This car belongs to my father who bought the car new from Eric Stead Rover in Sheffield in 1999.

It has been meticulously looked after and has only been a second car always kept in a garage.

As it has been entered into many concourse competitions over the years. the condition really is excellent.

The car has a genuine 28. 15 miles with all the MOTs from new to back this up. Mileage may increase slightly as it is still taxed and insured.

My father has owned Minis for most of his driving career and has always done all of his own servicing. which is the same for this car - it has been serviced regularly and all details of the servicing have been recorded in a notebook which is included with the car.

All 4 wheels are in good condition and come with 2 x Bridgestone tyres on the front with 6mm of tread and 2 x Dunlop tyres on the rear with 7mm of tread.

In 2009 the car was treated to a new passenger door skin and re-spray down that side. The work was professionally done by Minimod in Rotherham. Receipt with full breakdown of the work is included with the sale.

A special metal case is included with the car. This was issued to the purchaser with the 250 Mini 40 Special Editions. and was fitted with a die-cast model of the car and an old type Registration Book (Vehicles (Excise) Act 1949) with a Longbridge Factory 1999 stamp! It also gives full details of the car and gives the number of the Limited Edition number: 127/250. This box is original to this car and not all cars will still come with their box!

The car has been awarded many trophies at various Mini shows over the years. which are also included in the sale.

The only slight issue is a small amount of bubbling under the front windscreen rubber on the passenger side. It's only minor (and won't show up in any pictures!). but just wanted to be as honest as possible.
