The chief engineer since the beginning he was an instrumental part of making the Corvette a world renowned race winning machine. Beginning life in 1953 as a little two seater with a 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder it looked as if it would not make it past the first two years. With dismal performance not only on the road but as well as sales the future appeared bleak for the little two seater. All of that would change in 56 with the introduction of GMs all new V8. Backed up by a 3 speed manual transmission it turned the vette into a bonafied sports car. This 1975 stingray is a great example of how far the little two seater had come in just 22 years. The fiberglass appears to have its original red paint which shows very well. The beautiful GM Rally wheels add a great touch to the car. Under the hood is the original 350 CID L48 engine pushing this car through all the gears. Open the door and the original interior is rather great condition for a 40 year old vehicle. The black bucket seats are very comfortable and go very well with the exterior paint.
