HCC bring you this delightful one owner MG roadster thats covered just over 66000 miles in its 46 year life and could be one of the most original cars out there . every so often a car comes in that id dearly like to keep and this is one of them . Generally its in amazing condition and totally original apart from service items that have had to be changed . Finished in its factory order Primrose Yellow with black interior and wire wheels it has the potential to be one of the best original cars out there with little work .   Bodywise :: the car is in fantastic condition the paintwork is very good and the only areas that could be improved are a lower drivers door has a couple of blisters and the rear valance has been blacked and this wants to be returned to body colour . the front wing is a shade out as well. floors are fantastic as is the boot floor and inner arches . its had sills done to a high standard . rown bits in the boot are  waxoil which has been injected into most cavaties . underside could benefit with a scrape and tidy but is perfect otherwise . Interior:: is totally standard its got the original rubber flooring mats and cockpit carpets which add to the time warp patina . dash has standard instruments and switches that all work well and a motorola push button radio fitted from new completes the theme . drivers seat has a small tear on the upright bolster where you exit the car and its missing its headrests . Engine : the engine starts on the button and runs very well . engine bay is functional and dry . this car hasnt been restored so if shiny is your thing you could tidy it but as with the rest of the car its ORIGINAL !!. on the road the car has the nice tight feel that you simply dont get with high mileage examples and encourages you to drive it . verdrive cuts in and out nicely with no lag or jerking . its enthusiast owner has maintained the car well in his ownership doing servicing and repairs as required methodically . keeping it garaged and using it for sunny days out and long holidays abroad on occasions over the years too . Hood /Weather gear :: the car has had a new hood vinyl some years ago and has a zip out screen the fold and remove frame is in great shape and is so much nicer than later fixed frames . Wheels /Tyres are original items and would benefit from a refurb or changing but are fully functional as is and its just for the aesthetics that you'd change them.
