The photos were taken at its first show in September this year(note; the Stag on the video has a stripe on the first few photo's. this is how it looks now. the rugby ground pic's were pre stripe)
When I first investigated the engine and the parts that had been used. I think it must have been a very early conversion. with all the original conversion parts used. not a DIY job. late 70's 4 pot Weber on a now polished. lacquered Edelbrock inlet manifold with all the original brackets to convert the kick down ect. The cam. followers and rods have all been replaced as the engine seemed to have a slight tappet tick. now sweet! it was then emission tested and passed with flying colours to a modern day standard.
The engine has been detailed to a very high spec with all hoses replaced with silicone even the windscreen washer hose.
75. 00 miles. 2012 full renovation project with over 1000 hours labour logged to the Stag.
This is my hobby. not my business. I work for a telecommunications company and run a small signs firm. this project I bought in 2011 and completed in May 2012.
The Stag has had a full bare metal re-spray including the removal of the under side under-seal to asses the severity of rust and rot to the under side. to which there was no more than the odd surface rust spot. The car has all its original boot floor. foot wells ect and is in outstanding condition.
The car has been stripped to bare metal fully stone chipped underneath and 2 pack primed both inside and out. then base coat and lacquered using over 7 litres of paint.
The entire interior is totally original and in excellent condition. the hood looks brand new and the paint work is now pristine.
