Very solid 1968 Mustang Coupe “C” Code in Brittany Blue metallic.

The car has the original rust free floor pans and is very solid indeed. having spent 49 years in dry California it was imported into the UK two months ago. The car comes with its original service book showing early service records and with details of the original owner.

This is a condition #2 car.

The overall condition is very good to excellent.  

Outside the car:

Paint is a 7/10 in my opinion. The car was resprayed in 2010 back to its correct Brittany Blue colour.

The door handles. tail light bezels. chrome and brightwork are all good.

The car has brand new tyres.

Inside the car:

Seat covers & door panels have no rips or tears. Possibly the original seat covers.

Head liner is good with no rips.

Dash area is clean and presentable.

Front and rear windows operate correctly and windows go up and down.

Wipers. turn signals. main and dipped beam headlights and horn all work.

Heater fan works.

Boot area clean and spare wheel with tyre.

The car has a working replacement radio AM/FM CD player.

Chassis and engine bay:

The car has a clean and original engine compartment.

It has a straight. under carriage with rust free floor pans.

This is a very solid rust free car.

Pinch weld under rocker is clean with no rust.

Driving:

Car starts well and idles well once warm.

Transmission shifts correctly in all gears.

Tracks straight and does not pull left or right.

Suspension tight.

Single exhaust with older glass pack muffler.

A true survivor rust free classic 68. in a lovely colour with some nice desirable features.

MOT expires May 2017.

The prep work for UK use (headlights. tail lights. indicators etc) was done professionally whilst retaining the original factory appearance.

Completely new ignition parts. fuel pump. carb overhaul.

Several receipts and interesting history file.
