1972 DeTomaso Pantera project for sale

1972 DeTomaso Pantera. This is a project car that will need extensive restoration. This particular Pantera is straight and accident free but will need significant rust repair. The floor pans are shot and there is an assortment of other areas that will need attention. This car is complete (plus some extra parts) and was reported to be in good mechanical condition prior to going into storage. That was more than a decade ago and we have not run the motor. so take that for what it's worth.

Panteras are relatively simple cars to work on and restore. many of the parts car available out of the '60s and '70s Ford parts bin. It's hard to think of any early '70s sports car that offers the same level of performance and good looks in the sub 100k range. Also. unlike other Italian exotics. just about any place that works on old mustangs should be able to service it. I've been a fan of these for about 10 years and the prices have been inching up fairly quickly. We are happy to help buyers worldwide with freight and shipping logistics. A local viewing is welcomed and encouraged with appointment.
