Regretfully selling my '64 Galaxie convertible. It's a very rare and stunning colour combo of guardsman blue on guardsman blue interior with a white top (power). Car was built in Oakville. Ontario. Canada.

The interior is clean. with only a few bubble spots and small crack on the dash. Drivers side carpet is worn at the entry point. Rest of carpet is nice. clean and free of rips/tears. The radio works. all dash. turn signal lights (even ashtray light) work.  The horn and clock are presently not working.

Features a very rare option of the breakaway steering column found mostly on T-Birds of this vintage. This alone is cause for conversation.
- 17" aftermarket Torque thrust rims with tires nearing the end of their lives. I'd say 30% tread left.  The rest of the car is stock (down to the Holley 4V carb).

- Transmission was rebuilt in 2013 at Lee's Transmission in Vancouver. Very reputable shop.  Shifts life new. Odometer was disconnected when transmission was rebuilt. so mileage unknown. Reads 58. 00. Can't guarantee if that's accurate. The engine bay is clean and the car has been well maintained. so it wouldn't surprise me.
- Doors. trunk. hood all close clean and lines are straight. Hard to say if this car has even been in an accident. but I'll assume it hasn't. It's too straight. Rear trunk lid backed into years ago. See pic for dent.

- Bottom end fully rebuilt 2012 (with new manifolds) and motor mounts. After pulling it out of winter storage. I noticed the drivers side manifold is slightly loud. I suspect a loose manifold bolt.  Haven't looked into it further.
- Tiny pin-hole leak in the rad. Car has never overheated.  All fluids changed every summer.

- New battery last summer.

- There is some rust in rear quarters but nowhere else of concern on the car. The floors. trunk and other steel is solid.
- The paint. mostly original. is rough. A nice patina on the hood and trunk have shown up in the last couple years. The colour is stunning though. but the paint is tired.
- Seat belts installed in the rear (2 sets) so the kids can ride along.
- Trunk is clean. comes with jack and full size spare tire. I will also include a box of parts (light housings/lenses/drivers side door glass and other odds and ends).
- Comes with fender skirts (not installed and needing paint).
- Also has a tonneau cover (2 actually. 1 in great shape. the 2nd with a small tear).
This car is an extremely reliable. fun to drive classic that simply doesn't get driven enough.

You can insure this and drive it daily with no issue. Or. as they say. 'drive while you restore'.
I've driven it all over the Pacific Northwest and it's never let me down. Go back to the Ford Magnum rims and get collector plates (the Torque Thrust are period-correct so that might not even be an issue).

Car is for sale locally. If I sell it there. this listing will be cancelled. Happy to help with shipping to anywhere in the world. at your expense however. Car would make a drive to pretty much anywhere. but it is a 50 year-old car.
