First of all. thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by all the ratty other Porsche's out there and looking at this one. please feel free to message me. This Porsche is an absolute cream puff!! 82123 TWO owner miles.  It looks. runs. and drives like new. It IS basically near new 24 year old car!! There is not a nicer. more pristine. 1989 Carrera Targa in the world. I can honestly say that. because there are none other like this car. ANYWHERE!!  Yes. you can buy one of these for around $25K with more than 100K miles. or so. but they won't be anywhere close to this car and still wont be a 2 owner. all original. well optioned Porsche like this one!! If you want a project. please buy one. as this is not it. There is plenty of junk out there if you want a cheapy. Pay a little more and get A LOT more. I am both a PS and TRS on ebay. which less than 1% of seller are. and have a 100% positive feedback score. so have no worries. Please take the time to allow the 200+ detailed photos to load. it IS WELL WORTH the wait. and PLEASE read the entire description before asking questions (I know it is long. but I wanted to cover all bases!!) If you are serious. I know you will read every word. and look at every picture! This is the type of person I am looking for. This vehicle is priced for a quick sale to the discriminating enthusiast/collector that appreciates all the details. cleanliness. and correctness.  Everything correct on this car for both finish and function. so you don't have to do a thing. It does not need ANYTHING!! Everything works. Perfect advertising vehicle for your business too and can even be a tax write-off!!

I am listing this 1989 Porsche Carrera Targa for the 2'nd owner's family. He owned this car and impeccably maintained it since 2004 since it had 34K miles. He was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live. and sadly passed away in 5 weeks.  Original owner was in the military and was a LT. Colonal that was transferred several times. but kept the car inside at all times and also never drove in inclement weather.  Always garaged since day one. Never in the snow or salt.  I own a high end automotive shop that has been in business for 19 years and am VERY particular with all vehicles I choose to deal with. Car has never been abused. wrecked. damaged. bumped. or scratched. etc. since built. All original body panels and original paint. This Porsche does not have a scratch. ding. or dent on it. Just some chips you'd expect with a 24 year old car with original paint. /li>

Fully loaded and amazingly clean from top to bottom. No scratches. or dents and never any rust or accidents. No surprises or disappointments with this car. Original Guards Red paint shines like new and has been waxed regularly and always kept indoors in a humidity controlled. carpeted garage. Much more durable than today's water base paints. Look at the reflections. Never been put on a lift incorrectly. never been bottomed out. Look at the underside. ALL ORIGINAL MARKINGS. TAGS. AND STICKERS PRESENT! You can still see the factory applied undercoat and cosmoline underneath. No rust. Never a bent body panel. floor pan. or frame rail.  Two original keys come with the car. All original tinted glass including windshield which has no chips or cracks. Original inspection tags are still present on underside. along with all markings in grease pencil's which disappear once driven in the rain or inclement weather. Again. please take the time to look at the 200+ detailed pictures. Car is immaculate through out. Ask questions if you have them if you are serious.  
In my 19 years in the automotive business. I have NEVER seen a nicer. well preserved vehicle. It is really like looking and driving a 2 year old car. Original service manual. receipts. service records. owner's manuals. copy of original invoice. and other misc paperwork and documentation all come with the car. Recent valve adjustment. Michelin tires. A/C service. clutch. all fluids. and brakes. Car runs and drives fantastic.
Oil has been changed every 6 months since new with proper Mobil 1 synthetic oil.  Everything works as new. Only parts not original to car are the 930 clutch. links. and Kenwood radio head unit.  No wear marks. sweat marks. stains. smells. fading anywhere. No switches have sweaty hand. shiny marks. It really looks. drives and feels like a brand new car. Still has that new car smell inside. All lights and gauge work. including clock. It starts the first time. EVERY time. Original seat belts are not hard as a rock like most and still supple. All retractors work properly too. When I say it is new. I mean it completely. it is REALLY a new car. 24 years later for those of you that missed the opportunity to buy a new one. Here's your second chance to buy a near new one! This is one in a million. hands down! Other's selling in the $30K+ range are not as nice as this car. Priced to sell fast so the family can settle the estate. Clear. signed NV title in hand.  
Underside. and inside of wheels detailed frequently since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet has never been shampooed. soiled. stained. spilled on. and still looks like new with no fading. stains. or unraveling . Porsche script floor mats. Original spare (never been used and still has original silk-screening on the tread!!). jack. tire iron. tool kit and mounting hardware all original. never used and look new with original stickers. Original Targa top tool too. Just look at the pictures. they really explain this car. hands down. better than I can.
This car is impeccable for the price. NADA book on the car is $33K. No accidents. and no issues. No leaks or seeps. A/C ice cold. Heat hot. Never abused or driven by kids. Brakes and suspension like new. No gear noise or issues. All fluids always done before needed and are clean like they should be. Just had an oil change this week with correct oil filter and oil.  Exceptionally maintained and only correct fluids always! Near new Michelin tires on all 4 corners too.  
Ice cold A/C as stated before.  Does not run hot when A/C is on. Belts does not moan or squeal like some do with the AC on. Does not overheat even in 105+ degree weather. The car was let idle for 45 minutes in 105 degree heat and did not get 1/3 way on the temperature gauge. It was then driven to make sure there were no issues. pinging. or vibrations. no problems. No exhaust leaks. Sounds fantastic with absolutely no odd noises or issues!  I have driven this car over 100 miles with no issues. Has no problems starting in cold weather either. It is very powerful and sounds great. Most of these Porsche's don't drive as good as they look. this one absolutely does! 
Car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. It drives VERY well. No hesitations. back-fires. pops. squeaks. smells. and is not all over the road like most.  Looks. drives and feels like a brand new one. Suspension is responsive and tight. steering is tight. clutch is tight. Brakes are adjusted properly. and it stops very well and straight. Does not wander. shimmy. or have wind noise. even at 100+ MPH on the freeway. Never abused and was never a daily driver (even when new it was a multiple owned vehicle). No engine modifications. or idiots that have messed with this car. Beware of the ones that have been messed with. it is not worth buying someone else's issues.
You are better off getting one of these cars that have been driven. properly broken in.  and properly maintained than one with super low miles that has not been properly stored or has dried up seals. Nothing leaks or seeps on this car. Starts right up. first time. every time. Idles smoothly with nice deep exhaust tone.  No hesitations. Very smooth power. Gets great MPG too. surprisingly.  18+ MPG in town. and 28-30+ MPG on the freeway driving easy.
Brakes front and rear are firm. Look at the rotors and calipers. they are like new. Rotors have no ridge. No shimmies. squeaks. or pulls when you step on the brakes. Parking brake works perfect. Better brakes than my new $120K 2013 AMG Mercedes!!
Never been smoked in. no stains. still smells new. No wear at all. Carpet and original floor mats always covered when driven. Ashtray and cigarette lighter never used. not even for coins or junk to mar the ashtray! Kenwood cassette radio functions great with no farting speakers. Buttons on radio look like they have never been touched. no shiny finger grease!! 
Car is VERY clean top to bottom. Steering wheel is beautiful and pad is not all warped. Grain is not worn at all. Horn works perfect. All silk screening is like brand new. All power options work perfect. Power windows roll up and down smoothly with no clunks or skips. Power door locks work like they should. Both original original keys. No wind noise or leaks when washed. Door close tightly. Speedometer works perfect and doesn't bounce or stick like most. All gauges work perfectly and are accurate.
All lock cylinders are original to the car and work smoothly with no binds. Look at how well all the body panels and windows line up!! All original trim is in excellent condition. Every correct clip. nut. bolt. rivet. plug. sticker. rubber bumper. etc is correct on this car!! This is not a clean up and sell. everything is as correct as possible. Care. thought. a huge amount of time. passion. and attention to detail is present on every aspect of this car and has always been babied. detailed frequently. and waxed often. Always kept indoors.
Car is available for inspection and can be driven or shipped anywhere. Out of country buyers welcome too. if you arrange shipping. I can have the car delivered to the Long Beach Port. if needed. Clear. Nevada title in hand and signed off.  Currently registered and insured in NV until 2014. This is a beautiful car and PERFECTLY balanced as far as looks. safety. economy. handling. braking. comfort. reliability. sound. and performance!! Re-live your childhood with something you didn't have the means to buy new or replace one you used to own. or add another to your collection of other worthwhile vehicles. You can drive this car anywhere with no issues. This is the most balanced car you will ever drive. Transmission is smooth as silk with no grinds or difficulty to get into any gear. No one has ever sat in the rear seats. It is much more solid feeling than the newer Porsche's. easy to maneuver and park. more comfortable. and does not have all the sensors. catalytic converters. particulate filters. and maintenance of the newer versions. You will not find a nicer one for the money that is this nice and to this caliber of detail and pride of ownership! These cars are very hard to find.  
I took many pictures. including the underside. so you can see how well preserved and impeccable this car is. All the original underside over spray. markings. drips. scribbles. stickers. cadmium hardware. etc are there!!! All markings. drips. swabs. scribbles. etc you see. are original and untouched. Again. nothing leaks. I could put the invoice sticker back on it and you would swear it was brand new and stored in a showroom since new!!

In summary: EVERYTHING works!! No burnt out bulbs anywhere. even the back-up lights and original under hood light even still work perfectly. Original owners manuals and handouts. window sticker. case. service manuals. service records documents. etc etc etc all come with the car. You will be the 3rd owner of this time machine.  This Porsche runs and drives excellent and has never been abused. There are no odd odors. odd rattles. or odd noises. You can drive this car anywhere. Mileage may also vary minimally as car may be driven for test drives and/or inspections and I do drive it sometimes.   Please feel free to ask questions and I will answer promptly. There simply are none of these of this caliber out there. True collector quality. no excuse. survivor with a great history. Remember. you get what you pay for. this car does not need ANYTHING!! The paint and color combination is simply stunning and the options make it a pleasure to drive. No excuses. marks. issues. or stories.
