Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.25) based on 228 votes

Hi all. /p>

I have regrettably decided to sell my 1969 911T. The car starts right up and is still a good driver after all these years.

The 911 is currently located in Saint John. New Brunswick but was purchased from New York in 2000. Since arriving in Canada it has been used only during the summer months and has been garage kept. The following is a description of the current condition of the vehicle:

Exterior:

The car was painted yellow shortly after it arrived in Canada. The original color is white with a tan interior. The yellow paint has held up well over the years and still looks good. There is no obvious signs of rust on the exterior. It has a "S" front spoiler.

Interior:

The interior is in fair condition. The driver's seat was recovered some time ago but the passenger seat seems original. The dash is cracked. It has a Nardi wood steering wheel and shift knob. The headliner has some rips on it and the is missing the cloth cover in the area of the sunroof. It was removed when the sunroof was looked at when it stopped working. I have the door pockets but I removed them to prevent them for getting further damaged until they could be installed properly. The rubber door and trim seals should be replaced. The back seats are in pretty good shape. The interior could really use a total refresh.

Rust:

The car is solid. There is some evidence of rust in the top corner of the front pan. the battery boxes look good as do the inner fenders. The floor pans seem solid but there is some evidence of surface rust on the drivers floor pan where some moisture has gotten in due to the failing door seals. The rocker panels seem good but there was some rust repair in that area when it was painted. I will try to get some pictures of the underside and will post later.

Drivetrain:

I believe the car has the original transmission and I have the original engine case. The 911 experienced some mechanical issues years ago and a used 2. 2L engine was installed utilizing the original intake etc. I still have the original numbers matching engine case which appears to be in good condition. I have just  ordered a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity which I will include with the sale. The Porsche had SSI heater boxes and Ansa quadruple outlet exhaust installed years ago. It has a 5 speed transmission which was rebuilt by a well regarded Porsche specialist in CT in the late 90's.

General:

This is a really solid mostly original 911T deserves a proper restoration. It starts right up. sounds good and still drives well after all these years. I haven't driven it this summer as I just purchased a newer model 911. The last time I has it out I noticed the left front brake was sticking probably due to lack of use. The car does drip oil after shitting for some time and will smoke a little bit on first start if not drive regularly. I can't confirm mileage so I would assume the mileage is 156. 00 miles. the 911 has been driven less than 16. 00 miles since it was imported to Canada in 2000.

Shipping:

I will ship to Canada. USA and Europe. I have sold vehicles to Europe and the USA without problems in the past. I recognize that a purchase of this value requires good communication and I will work with the Purchase to ship the vehicle but shipping of the vehicle is the Purchasers responsibility.

Terms:

This sale of this vehicle is AS IS with no warranty given or implied. A $500 no refundable deposit is required with in 48 Hours after auction end. The car should be picked up within 2 months of auction close after which I will charge $50 USD /month storage for indoor storage. I will work with the Purchaser to provide him/her with documentation for international transport of the vehicle. Please DO NOT bid if you do not intend to purchase. Please ask questions before you bid not after you purchase. Thanks and Happy Bidding!

Check back often as I intend to update the listing with answers to questions and pics as requested. Thanks!!

I apologize for the typos in the description. I posted the rough draft thinking I could go back and edit . I was wrong :)

I added some pictures of the front pan area. The 911 is in my garage and not a lot of space to take pictures. I will try to pull it out into the driveway tomorrow if it's sunny.
