Cadillac : Fleetwood Fleetwood

Re listing after one month because of non paying international buyer with no feedback.  Please do not bid unless you can complete the deal without any dramas and actually complete payment.  Amazingly Rare 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special in spectacular original condition. This highly optioned Fleetwood with its' incredible extra chrome and stainless trim runs and drives like a 60. 00 mile car would. Finished in midnight black over the luxurious Fleetwood black and white interior this is the epitome of elegance from 1959. This original car maintains all of its original chrome and stainless which has remained in amazing dent free scratch free condition. There is pitting on most of the hard chrome but it all retains a spectacular shine. The stainless is amazing and as straight and dent free as I have ever seen. The chrome is super solid without any rust thru on the lower bumpers and the front and rear grills are clean and straight and absolutely beautiful. The paint on the car needs to be refinished as it has surface wear and small chips and deserves a complete repaint. The entire car is extremely rust free with evidence of an older small patch on both lower front fenders which is very typical of the 59s that should be redone and the left quarter directly above the fender skirt ( 1/2 inch very thin area ) but below the fake vent trim will need repair. The interior is very clean and all power equipment is in excellent working condition. The power windows work. the vent windows work. the 6 way power seat works. The Air conditioning works and blows "COLD". All the lights inside and outside work. The carpets are clean and not faded and the dash is great except for the two cracks on the right side upper cover. All the gauges work properly including the gas gauge and all of the dash lights work properly including the generator warning light. Even the cruise control will engage. The trunk liner is clean and has its original trim and is all intact but should be replaced at some point. The head liner is original and is completely intact but has aged and turned light brown but is not loose or falling down anywhere. The tires are older wide whitewall radials with 80% tread left and the car drives straight and solid at any speed. The exhaust is very solid and quiet but there is a small leak on the left side under acceleration. It is not noticeable at Idle. The car starts right up easily and idles smooth without smoking. The transmission shifts like it should without hesitation. This is a beautiful original car that would be an absolute showpiece with a lovely repaint and some easy chrome plating. I have been in the Limousine business for 40 years and have owned hundreds of classic cars and limousines and this is one of the most beautifully designed Cadillacs' ever built.
