Rare collectors car FOR SALE: Created by John Cooper Garages with 75. 00km; one of the 8 remaining “White Roof” cars as reviewed by Autocar in 1989. EXTERIOR
The car had a full front end and new sills about 6 years ago. the paint work is still fresh with only the smallest of garage blemishes; the MkII cooper  grill and a full set of fogs and spotscomplete the period look.

 

INTERIOR
The interior has the original Crayon upholstery seats with new chrome door fittings and black door cards. The floor is clean and rust free. A period Mountney steering wheel was fitted by Cooper Garages. the receipt is still in the folder. This car is left hand drive.

The radio-cassette is correct for the date and is fitted into a full walnut dashboard


ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The conversion included a Janspeed head. twin SU's and a long centre branch exhaust.

Recently fitted1 23 integrated distributor electronic ignition and battery conditioner charger included.


WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
12 x 5 inch Snowberry White “MOD” wheels. some times called Italian wheels. these early wheels had the stud hole in line with the petals. The tyres are less than 200 miles old.

HISTORY FILE
The car was originally purchased in the UK through the NAFFI then re-registered in Germany. and finally back to the UK with an aged related plate. All the correspondence is present for the original purchase and the various registrations; the history file has to be seen to be believed.
