Chevrolet : Other Standard

Sale price: $8,401.00 make an offer

Car location: Surrey, BC, Canada

Seller's notes: At a show, this Hot Rod stands out from the rest! It has been restored as it was built in 1970, by someone at home, keeping the old look, just adding power and brakes! OK, and Air Conditioning. This is an 80 year old car, as it was produced in 1935 and very few still exist. The car has been cruised in and showed at local car shows. There is no noticeable rust or dents that I can see. The paint job was just re-done by me in my garage. The car has had a provincial mechanical inspection done before it was put on the road. This car has been cared for and restored the best we could in the back yard garage with the resources we had. It is sold where is, as is. I have enjoyed driving and showing the car. The reason for the sales is the lack of room as I am now interested in an old truck. I understand it is the last Chevy car that was made using wood and people just love the suicide doors!

Vehicle Condition:

This is an 80 year old car. as it was produced in 1935. that has been modified by a number of different people. It is an at home modification and paint job. The workmanship is the best I could do. I have taken it to a large number of car shows and enjoyed all of the attention the car got. The body work and paint job is not professional. but it represents to me a hot rod that would have been made in the 60's. I wanted to keep the original look. but wanted disc brakes and a SBC 350. It had a small engine fire and the hood was burnt along with some wires. The repairs were done through my insurance company at a local hot rod shop.

I took the car down to the frame and started the restore from there.

Features: The last chevy with wood in it. Suicide doors. hood opens up in the middle. has a tow bar and a remco coupler so the car can to towed behind a RV

Ownership: The car was made in the USA in 1935. Paul purchased it in 1970 in the state of Maryland and it was turned in to a hot rod. In Oct 1971. the car moved to Canada. In 2005 I purchased the car and restored it as the engine and transmission had been removed.
