Hello. This is a rare very clean. accident free. low mileage. un-modified. all original 1984 Porsche 928S automatic in excellent exterior. interior. mechanical and drivetrain condition throughout. The exterior is a sophisticated "Rose Quarz" brown. the interior is a full leather cocoa brown and is one of the most luxurious GT car experiences available. but with tons of attitude. As Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear reviewed: "This is a he-man car. it's a brute. it's the kind of thing that would just go out and eat a tractor. for fun. " This car does not need any work whatsoever. Indoor garaged. has received regular maintenance during my 8 years of ownership. Very fast . amazing highway car. V8 sounds amazing. real head-turner. A true classic car. this clean in such good condition is rare.

The driving experience is amazing. and is widely considered still one of the best GT cars every made. With all this power. it still drives so easily and smoothly you do not realize how fast you are going. Fingertip steering control. It was one of the most luxurious cars of its time. and the interior is a comforting luxurious leather cocoon.

My brother purchased the car in California in April 2008 but had to move to Asia in Mid 2009. He wanted to keep it within my family until he returned to the USA so he sent it to me here in Montreal Canada in 2009 to store it in my garage. The car is titled under me and I hold clean title. I have kept it garaged and maintained. never driven during the winter. and only driven during summer months. The car is started at least once a month. driven short distances and only when the Canadian sun is shining. and the tank kept full. My brother is still in Asia and does not plan on returning to the USA anytime soon. so its time to let it go and let someone else enjoy the car.

Maintenance history: While we have owned it since April 2008. we have serviced it regularly. and since changed the tires. brakes. alternator. battery. cooling hoses. transmission and oil gasket. The car has had low cost of ownership. Aside from the regular service cost. it qualified for Classic Car insurance in the US (he used Hagerty in California) which is only a few dollars a month as long as you store it indoors and securely. Also according to Hagerty. 928 prices have been increasing steadily and have jumped up twice over the last 8 years. So now is the time to grab one before they rise again quickly. https://www. hagerty. ca/ValuationTools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vbe=29913

Body condition: Excellent original paint. still very glossy. For a 31 year old car. it has amazingly low body/paint wear and tear. no major blemishes. no touch ups needed. The only body dimple/dent is a very very small one on the sunroof. as seen in the photo. The front fairing also has 2 cracks. as seen in the photos. assumed from a low parking curb (the car sits very low). All doors and panels are aligned and I have not seen any sign of accident or body repair.

Mechanicals: Engine runs perfectly. Drivetrain works smoothly. Brakes work well. Steering is perfectly balanced.

Interior: All interior switches work. The leather is in very rare top condition. still supple and not dried out. almost flawless. except for a couple of slight scratches on the leather of the driver's seat left bolster as you enter and sit down. as you can see in the pictures (unavoidable to rub against the seat as you slide onto the low seats. which likely has caused the few scratches on the leather). Ive noticed some shrinking of the dash leather. but only if pointed out to you. The "928" plastic emblem on the interior panel has a tiny part of the plastic broken off. but can easily be remedied with some black paint (see in photo). Note that the CD/Radio was changed before my brother purchased the car in 2008. The original cloth trunk security cover that came with the car had worn. so he replaced it with a leatherette cover that matches the interior. but still using the original cover hardware. as you can see in the pictures. The steering wheel leather in very good condition. but the stitching along the top has worn off as in the picture. The floor mats are original. and you can see in the photo the driver's floor mat is getting worn. but still very presentable.

Mileage: At the time my brother sent the car to me here in Canada in  Mid 2009. the mileage was 69. 80 miles as seen in the picture. However. about 2 years ago in 2013. the odometer stopped working at 75. 26 miles and has stopped working since. Since 2013. I  estimate to have only filled the tank about 6 times a year for the past 2 years. and as I estimate that each tank gives about 250 miles. then I estimate that there has been another at most 3. 00 miles added to the 75. 26 original miles since 2013 = 79. 00 miles estimated as of today. The speedometer still works fine and this does not affect the driveability at all.

Other materials: The original manual. ignition. valet and wheel-lock keys come with the car. and after market spare keys. The original jack and tool kit is complete. Maintenance records and log up to 2009 when my brother had it in California are included but I have not kept records from 2009 onwards.

Since the time of this writing. the pressurized cartridges that hold the back hatch/window up/open have failed. so the back hatch/window still opens fine but does not stay held open/up/suspended. Still functional but inconvenient. Hence the only 2 things to make this car perfect are the odometer and the back hatch opening cartridges.

As a closing point. this quote from David E. Davis. Jr. April 1978 for Car and Driver had started our 928 lust. and it has only grown since: "If you approach this car with an open mind. open the door. sit down. fire it up and drive it away. it will quite simply blow your mind. To get out of whatever you were driving and take the 928 for a spin is as liberating as your first ride on a motorcycle. your first kiss from a girl who knew how. You may frighten yourself. in a burst of unbridled enthusiasm. but the 928 won't. It's a rolling womb of whispering. humming. tactile assurances that everything on this particular road on this particular day is going to be all right. Dreamlike. you fly down the road like a bat out of hell with nothing more than the blurring of the trees and the moan of the engine to call your attention to the speedometer. This is grand touring. folks. and whatever it costs. it's worth It. "
