1962 THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE with Sport Roadster Tonneau Option and Hardtop Parts Car.
~ Alberta. Canada registered vehicle and located in Alberta; clear title. not numbers matching.
~ Rust free body with most of body work done and in primer. Trunk lid needs completing.
~ Options include swing away steering column. buckets & console. retractable roof. Sport Roadster tonneau option. fender skirts & more.
(This is not a Sport Roadster; it is a convertible with the tonneau option. )
~ Seats have been re-upholstered. bumpers have been re-chromed and lots more has already been done.
~ Fresh rebuilt 390 cid. . 4 bbl. engine; fresh rebuilt C6 automatic transmission & 9” rear end. Engine compartment has been painted. drive train installed and it is running and movable.
99% of the parts are there. project needs completing.
Comes with a 1962 Thunderbird 2 dr. Hardtop with no motor or transmission.
This car has the potential to be restored and / or used as parts car or both.
The hardtop car has power windows & seats which can be installed in the convertible.
I am a semi-retired Licensed Mechanic with over 40 years in the restoration business but I have way too many projects and something has to go.
Whatever work that has been done to date on the convertible has been done right.
