This car is one of only 75 left-hand-drive cars to be built with the sublimely handsome drophead coachwork by H J Mulliner. which was immediately recognized as one of the handsomest cars of its era. an ‘instant classic' as it were; a status it has retained ever since.

The car is finished in silver/grey with the paint being in close to perfect order throughout after its recent respray. To the interior is brand new navy blue Autolux Connolly hide fitted to the car last year along with new Wilton carpets. headlining & boot lining. All woodwork was likewise removed & refinished. All brightwork was likewise replated. The car as a whole presents in as new condition & is utterly superb throughout.

Last year the car had over £64. 00 spent on it at Marque specialists West Hoathley Garage; £14k on mechanicals. £19k on trimming & £30k on coachwork. It is thus in perfect order & needing nothing whatsoever doing to it.

The car was supplied new to the USA where it was little used; it's original owner being one Bruce Butterworth of California. By 1971 the car resided in Iowa where it was owned for 29years prior to passing to the then owners heirs. The car spent many of these years stored rather then used & was then bought back to the UK for its extensive & expensive re-commissioning. The car was specified with electric windows from new & a Cadillac radio aerial rather then the more conventional one from Rolls Royce. The car has power steering & air conditioning.
