Mercedes-Benz : SLK-Class SLK 230 Convertible, Kompressor

The car is in excellent mechanical condition and can be driven anywhere. The odometer reads 135K. miles.  the engine starts right up. pulls strong and doesn't burn a drop of oil. The automatic 5spd transmission shifts thorough the gears smooth & swiftly. The car is a real pleasure to drive.   All the electrics are in perfect working order with the exception of the fuel gauge. its intermittent & reads correctly below half a tank. This car has been shown at many local GTA car meets. and gets compliments all the time. You will not find a nicer SLK230.  Listed below are some of the exterior upgrades & mechanical work that I have done to the car over the past 4 years. I have all receipts and documentation for all work completed. It was regularly serviced at Mercedes Benz Mississauga & later at a European specialty shop.  

Exterior

- 17” AMG Monoblock rims with Bridgestone RE760 Sport performance tires (currently 80% tread life remaining)

- Tech 55 AMG style grill painted body colour

- HID headlight conversion kit

- Euro clear bumper lights

- New rear tail light assemblies (replaced under recall at Mercedes Benz Mississauga)

Mechanical

- Rebuilt rear differential & axle assembly

- New upstream oxygen sensor

-  New Alternator

- Transmission flush/service

- New Charcoal Canister

- New Gas Tank level sensor

- New tensioner assembly for Compressor

- New Engine mounts

- New Transmission mounts

- New Spark Plugs & Wires

- New PSE Control Module (these cars are known for control module issues which are a direct result of the trunk drainage tube on the passenger side leaking into trunk area and onto the module. The PSE pump has been replaced with an OEM part. and the drainage tube has been replaced and extended to eliminate the issue. This is a factory defect. all 98-04 SLK's experience this problem. Since repair I have never had a problem since.

- All fluids recently changed

 The car also comes with its original 16” rims with snow tires included. The SLK230 has been a wonderful toy during thetime I've owned it. It is a safe and reliable car that can be driven anywhere. The car needs nothing and is ready for summer cruising.
